Will always stay here
4 years ago My Uncle Suggested staying here since we love to come to Lancaster for long weekends. I will never not stay here. The place is beautiful, rooms are really nice, clean and comfy. The breakfast pre covid was top notch. I will say though now, with covid, they are one of the very few places still serving breakfast and I think it’s very good considering. The staff. Amazing! All are so welcoming and acknowledge you no matter how many times you walk past them. The pool is a plus and always so clean. The Revere inn. Let me just tell you....we were exhausted, but needing to eat dinner still. We called To place a take out order and the young man that took the order says ok we will have it right up to you! Wait. What? Yes sir we will bring it right to your door. The food was amazing and the service was amazing. I got the crab cake sandwich and it was excellent. Barely any filler and full of fresh lump crab meat. My love got the prime rib sandwich and he said it was so full of flavor and was cooked Perfectly. We also order the corn crab risotto appetizer and that was like heaven in every bite! We are checking out this morning and I already can’t wait to come back!
Pleasant stay
We spent two nights here celebrating my husband's birthday. The suite we stayed in was very comfortable. It had a nice fireplace and whirlpool tub. It is close to shopping and restaurants, although due to the Covid shutdown, many were just reopening and some not yet open. I would definitely stay here again, hopefully when things get back to normal.
sad to write a negative review
It pains me to write a negative review of this hotel, where we have stayed many times before and always enjoyed it. But, we will not be returning until the COVID pandemic is under control and urge any others with similar concerns to be cautious. The hotel is lovely, the renovations in the past year are well done, but the staff is inconsistent in mask wearing. We encountered a number of housekeeping and maintenance staff not wearing their masks (or wearing them hanging off their chins) Some were even standing in the hallway speaking to passing guests without concern about social distance and possibly spreading the virus. This area has a high infection rate and we left from what should have been a relaxing stay for our family wondering if we may have brought the virus home with us. When I expressed these concerns to front desk personnel upon check out, no apology or promise to improve was offered. PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASKS ALL THE TIME. YOUR MASK PROTECTS ME AND MY MASK PROTECTS YOU. Maybe in a year or so we will come again but for the time being.... we won't risk it.
Where your treated as family
We have been coming to this same motel for many years because we know it's a very clean and lovely place to stay while visiting amish country. The staff are very friendly going out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. You are truly treated like family at this motel.
Relaxed during Pandemic
nice to know that safety and comfort can make customers feel relaxed during this "age". Service in the hotel and restaurant were both exceptional. Felt at home even though the breakfast selections were all prepackaged for safety during the pandemic. Happy to see that staff and customers alike are taking wearing masks seriously.
