Beautiful hotel, very clean and staff is friendly. It is certainly more suited for conferences and business, but provides great service for families. The pool/hot tub/ stream room area was so relaxing. Complimentary breakfast was fabulous with lots of variety of food. The hotel is located beside the mall and is close to all amenities. Also has a parkade to keep your car covered.

I stay at the Pomeroy often and it remains my favourite hotel without question. The service is phenomenal and the hotel is spotless. The mall is next door and the in-hotel restaurant is incredible. Comfy beds and quiet location. It’s consistently an excellent experience.

Going downhill

First our reservation was mixed up; by phone I was told a jr king suite, which would’ve fit our family, unfortunately when we arrived it was a deluxe executive, which did not fit our whole family... partially my fault as I did not check the confirmation email...the solution; upgrade to an executive king suite with an adjoining double queen suite...very nice rooms, comfortable beds... for an extra $200. They gave us a 10% discount for the inconvenience. (I do appreciate the staff trying to work with us, they were mostly friendly and trying to accommodate the situation) To top this off, the throw pillow on the couch looked like someone threw up close to it and splattered it, there was toothbrush splatter on the mirror and counter behind the taps. Lastly, the pool area was nice, water temperature was very good, however the shower at the pool area was gross. Hair everywhere, shampoo/conditioner down the walls and caked and dried on, so it had definitely been there a while. We determined they have let maintenance and housekeeping sit at a minimum to pocket more profit... we will source out another hotel next time we visit GP.

I’ve never heard of Pomeroy before so I was a little leery. I didn’t need to be. It was very nice. There was lots of space. The bed was comfortable. They had some softer and firmer pillows. There was free breakfast but We also received a voucher for $25 off 1 supper for each of us. I thought that would mean it was a really expensive supper but again was surprised as many of the dishes were around $20-30. My only complaint was that there was a 1” space under the door that let the light in at night and I thought it kinda creepy. I would definitely stay again though.

This is the best deal in Grand Prairie. $25 off my Meal everyday and a free hot breakfast. The staff are exceptional. Bhumika Dahl greets you at the front desk with a huge smile. She has above and beyond for me. The ladies in the lounge remember your name. I’m away From home a lot and they make it a lot easier
