A warm welcome from Mark. Our room was huge, perfect for our 7 day stay, clean, bed super comfy! The food was great- Thankyou Lucy. We had a superb week with great suggestions from Mark. Loved it!

Great hotel in Grantown

Mark & Lucy are first class hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was comfortable and very clean. The bar was well stocked and comfortable. Lucy’s breakfasts and dinners were exceptionally good. Location is quiet and only a few minutes walk to the twin centre. All in all a great find.

A very nice & friendly (almost homely) hotel, tucked back off the Grantown high street. Mark & Lucy work really hard to create a welcoming and comfortable stay - successfully. We really enjoyed it! We stayed in a great value family room & it was clean and comfortable.

Excellent ! Friendly, helpful owners, upgraded room with huge bed, super comfy. We're low carb dieters and Lucy offered and adapted menu for us, food was superb, breakfast pre order meant little or no waste plus good choice to suit any tastes. Comfy bar area with toasty fire and choice of whisky and gin. Reasonably priced wines too. Plenty of parking and walking distance to all Grantown has to offer. Highly recommended.

A birthday treat

I took my wife away for a couple of days to celebrate her birthday and discovered this little gem. Although only a short stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit are we greeted and treated warmly by Mark and Lucy (the chef). The food was terrific with my wife's favourite, oysters, ordered in specially for her, and the venison pie and other items on the menu were wonderful. The accomodation was spacious and comfortable and the hotel is dog friendly which was another important factor when we selected this hotel. The of froad parking (private car park) and good internet/wifi capability were also factors which influenced out decision. A memorable trip and we will be returning to take advantage of this hotel again and continue re-exploring the highlands
