Physically a very nice hotel. New. Clean. Comfortable. Excellent location. Staff friendly but a little tough to locate. Downgraded for service. Needed different coffee pods in room. Asked 3 times. Saw employee write it down. Promised to deliver the. To my room. Never did show. Pancake machine at breakfast not working. Bathroom sink soap dispenser in room had 2 lotions and no soap. Little things but I expected better.

Broke hot tub, stained couch, questionable suite status

Room was not clean, couch had stains/snags on the cushion and that makes everything seem sketchy. Upgraded to a suite which in the website photos looks like a separate area. Most rooms have a half wall or something between them. Not here. The couch is literally pushed up against one of the beds. When we called to ask about it being the room we reserved, the front desk said it was a suite and the loveseat pulled out into a bed. Um we didn't want it for a pull out couch. We wanted a seating area. We also could not access the internet. The igh app would not connect well, and I spent nearly an hour with the virtual concierge trying to troubleshoot our room issues since the front desk seemed to think all was right, and it still did not work. The hot tub was out after we had called before to ask about the pool because the confirmation had a note that the pool was closed through October 30 for renovations. Then when I was upset and wanted to check out because the room was not what we booked and amenities were not available I was told I had no reason to raise my voice. So we left. It was the worst hotel experience I've had and I was there for maybe an hour. Don't think because they are the most expensive room in town it's the best room. Ive had much better experiences at other hotels in town. I was hoping for a bit more luxury and they didn't even have the basic amenities listed when we booked and misled us about availability when we called 5 days before the reservation to verify the renovation was completed and the pool area was open.

Still a good choice

This was the 3rd time we've stayed here each time for the Flatlander Half Marathon / 5K races in Great Bend. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, everything worked, the carts were helpful, check in was easy.

Stayed here for a college softball tournament. It's very clean, good breakfast, staff is friendly, great location & the wifi worked!! It rained really hard one day & water leaked in thru the window. Staff person didn't seem too concerned when I asked for extra towels to keep the water from soaking the carpet. Then the maintenance man came by, he said he was aware of the problem. Apparently this happens when it rains. They should fix this. Also no ice maker on the first floor!! The window issue & ice maker are the reason I didn't give 5 stars.

Best Stay Of Our Trip

On our trip, this was the first place we stayed that had a pool and hot tub that were open. The room was nice and modern. The WiFi worked well. We always enjoy a free breakfast! Definitely would stay here again.
