A beautifully presented and run hotel. We received a warm welcome with drinks on arrival. Parking was sorted out for us. The hotel is spotless, and stands out along the promenade. It would be nice to return in the summer. (If there is space!) Breakfast was amazing, with a wide and varied choice.

Absolutely amazing hotel, cannot fault this in any way. The staff were outstanding and could not do enough for us. The food in the fine dining restaurant was delicious and presentation was first class. Breakfast was excellent with such a great variety from which to select. The decor in the hotel which was a mixture of Boutique and Art Nouveau and was outstanding, I would definitively recommend a stay at The Ocean Hotel.

First class experience, from free drink on arrival right through to extensive breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. Well equipped bedroom and bathroom. We would definitely recommend, and will stay again & again

Every town needs an Ocean Hotel and Morgan 😊

This was a business trip and my first visit to GY so I was completely relying on the Trip Advisor reviews and they are absolutely spot on. Being a single female travelling alone isn’t much fun so I wanted to make sure the hotel was nice and equally their restaurant was was going to be suitable for dining alone. On arrival I was greeted by the very happy and friendly Morgan who has been a complete delight to meet and can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. His passion for the hotel shows no bounds and told me he moved away when he went to University but missed GY so much he couldn’t wait to come home. Many larger hotel chains would do well to learn from the Ocean Hotel and Morgan with their attention to detail and ability to make their customers feel welcome and special. I dined in their newly renovated basement restaurant and wow what a stylish and beautifully decorated place they have created. The menu is perfect , simple, modern and wonderfully delicious 😋 11/10 for service, style and quality of ingredients. Thank you to all of the staff especially Morgan for making my stay so enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back 💙

Wow, what can I say! We often dine at hotel ocean for breakfast & lunch which is always so perfect- the staff, service and food is always spot on. Today myself and family dined in their private di in restaurant and the food was outstanding along with everything else. They always get it right and had the most perfect little touches. Thank you guys- can not wait to dine here again soon!
