Tried to stay here. Parking at Akron airport is $12 a day and a winter storm warning is predicted so I called the front desk. I asked may I park my car for a week as I was spending a week in Florida. Flying out at the Akron airport. I want to stay the night before, the answer was “I don’t know, call back in the morning and speak to a manager.” I called back the next morning and a manager said yes you can park for a week no charge. Just sign a park and fly. I booked a room online for $113. Great deal! That afternoon, I realized I hadn’t verified the shuttle service I called back and a lady said NO shuttle. We have tried to get that changed on our website. So I arraigned a Lyft for $30 to the airport. Still a good deal. The next day I called back to the front desk to make sure parking was free and I asked for a manager I was told no managers there today could she help me. The lady then informed me there was no free parking that all the hotels charge for parking and it will be $10 a day. I asked her then who did I talk to yesterday? She said she didn’t know! I cancelled the room and the ride. I will be driving in the snow and paying parking at the airport.

there was never a time i entered or left were the staff said hello or goodbye in the most genuine way. they even offered use of facilities for a after celebration of life gathering if needed. made me feel part of the "family"

No room cleaning

I stayed here this week for 5 days. I want to score this higher but the room cleaning is a hard point for me. The plus points - good size room with all the amenities you need (coffee machine, fridge, iron + board, shower stuff). Standard HIE breakfast fare. Great staff. The negatives. Room was never cleaned - no bins emptied, no towels changed, no bed made up, no loo roll replacement. No offer of points or free selection from the market. Tiny gym and pool. Doors slam noisily. The other minor issue I had was that during my stay there was a crew that were working locally cutting trees and so they took up most of the car park with their machinery and every night there would be a few people outside the entrance smoking and drinking. Will try another hotel when i'm back out in 2 weeks

Very Nice Hotel. Great Staff

Overall a very nice hotel. Room was very clean. Breakfast was free and included eggs, omelets, muffins, cinnamon rolls, etc. Pillows were nice as was water pressure. Beds are firm and walls were a little thin which made if noisy if the room next door was loud, but staff moved us to a new room. Staff were are friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay again if we are in Akron again.

Clean, lighted, good place to stay !

Front Desk, Tony, personable and helpful. Easy to find and close to the main road. Very clean, well lighted, modern updates. Breakfast had real scrambled eggs, not the hydrated things. Bathroom had a mirror with a light all around it, ladies; great for putting on your face! Lights in the room at various spots so you never have those dark spaces while trying to read. Towels were good size and fabric. Grab bar was where it should be. Couch was comfortable and the light was just where you would want it. Elevator was quick and quiet. Coffee available in breakfast room all day. I highly recommend this place. Couple of restaurants near by.
