Disgusting

After check in, we were greeted by screaming children, women and a fat man throwing bedding and mattresses out of the room across from us. I went to the office and complained. We went to dinner and when we returned, the mess was cleaned up. When i inquired at the office about the incident, I was told the room was under renovation by the GM. We travel with dogs, so our options are few. The next morning, while walking my pups, i came across the man in charge of "renovations" getting out of his car...naked. This location has the opportunity to be the best especially for pet owners: off the road and lots of greenspace. A solo traveler would not be safe here. Too many sketchy guest, lack of interest my management and an isolated location.

Quiet location

I stayed here for four days. The first room I got had two full beds and had an AC unit that was very worn and barely worked. I request a move to a king bed for my last two days and it was a cleaner room with good AC. They also gave me a courtesy by charging me the same rate on the king room as the two fulls. The front desk is friendly. Overall, the place is clean and quiet at night and a few people were walking their dogs around the property. It's close to the interstate but you can barely hear any traffic noise. The hotel itself is tucked back into the woods. I wish the WiFi was a little faster but it got the job done. There is a QuikTrip nearby for all your snacking needs.

Kassaundra, one of the front desk agents, was not only polite, but she was helpful as well as professional. We had great conversations. She is the reason that we’ll be back! This Red Roof Inn get a 10/10 because of her.!

Good Bye Red Roof

Because I travel with pets, I have been a faithful Red Roof customer. Not anymore. I know this I'd a budget hotel, but when linens have urine and blood stains on them, Throw them away! The Greenville Red Roof is the perfect setting. In the woods, easy access to 85 and 276. A tucked away little haven for prostitutes and drug dealers. The rooms appear to be subsidized by Health and Human Services. I am about to call the police for a welfare check on the room next to mine as the adults-3-are "partaking" in the car and I have not seen anyone check on the baby. And they cleaned out there car in the parking area: dirty cigarettes, beer cans and dirty diapers. The guest in the back of the building are on the upswing, very evident that the rooms are for ex addicts. Everyone deserves safe, clean affordable housing. RED ROOF WHAT ARE YOU? Hotel or halfway house? TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
