A perfect place for the New Year Eve

I stayed in this hotel during the New Year’s Eve and it was a pleasure to live the enthusiasm they could transfer to the clients with the different events they created. I loved to see the waiters coming out the kitchen with several dishes. Every year the clerk needs something different so for this period the entire organization was appreciable. I would organize differently the music proposal. Sometimes it was too loud and too intrusive. I believe music could be managed better. I have to thank Matteo, the waiter assigned to my table from the second evening who, in cooperation with the reception, the Altair association and the cooking department helped me to feel comfortable with my allergies. I ate delicacies. I think it is important to improve the second courses. They are not eatable sometimes or anonymous. I hope we could train many Matteos in the future who try to be very gentle and professional.

I spend here with my family a very relaxing time. The place is wonderfull, the people who works here is kind and helpful, Filippo Antonio Elena Andrea e Sabrina (Anima Vera) are great. A special Thanks to Daniela to give us an incredible feeling of family!

Huge Peaceful and quiet property with plenty of super large guest rooms!

Stayed here and found the guest rooms to be huge and very well done. The property is older and has friendly staff that are super helpful. A lot of hotel room for a fair price! Located in Tuscany and very nice grounds!

A lot to be desired

In order to activate the air-conditioner, it is necessary to insert the key card into a slot near the door. The air conditioning is turned off when the key card is removed. Since we had two of these, we decided just to leave one in the slot when we left to ensure that the room temperature would remain comfortable. Upon returning to the room, we found that the housekeeper had tidied up the room and had taken the key card. We contacted the front desk clerk who said that they would ask the housekeeper about this. Later, we inquired, and were told that, no, the housekeeper had not taken the key card and that there would be a 10 Euro charge to replace the card. We inquired several more times during the following days, and were always told that the key card has not been found. We decided to forgo the comfort of each having our own key card. The last night of our stay, there were some very noisy guests partying about100 feet from our ground-floor room. It was impossible to sleep, and we had to be at the train station early the next morning. At 1 AM, we tried calling the front desk, but nobody answered the phone. Finally, I got dressed, and went to the front desk, and explained the problem to the clerk. He was very hesitant to intervene, but finally he did, and by 1:30 AM, it was possible to get some sleep. Housekeeping was sporadic. It was necessary to specially ask for toilet paper and shampoo, otherwise these supplies would not have been given. The restaurant was excellent except for stale rolls and pastries that were often served on the breakfast buffet. Some of the front desk clerks acted unfriendly, as if they were doing us a favor by even speaking with us. Some of the clerks were very nice. Air conditioning was deficient. Temperature was rarely comfortable. The evening bartender was always very nice, and gave us ice without hesitation. The room was kept clean even though housekeeping was sporadic. At breakfast, the hot drink machine was very slow causing a large line of people. There was no teapot, etc. in the room. There was no English programming on TV. Hairdryer was outdated - only a hose without any tip, etc.

Wow great location for our Summer dance Intensive . Two large clean pools. Big outdoor/tented facilities for huge dance classes- also in the main hotel building great rooms to accommodate meetings, seminars and classes. Be aware the floors are all Italian tiles. The reception area is beautifully planned. Wi-fi and multi lingual staff! Our room was a suite in the main bldg- with a double wide terrace #228 overlooking the serene countryside- high vaulted ceilings- equipped with refrigerator And whirlpool blasts in the shower- very well laid out spacious bedroom and bath With an extra lil bed- Last year we stayed As guests in the Annex across the parking And it was a lil bit of Versailles lol, beautifully Decorated rooms. There is a spa downstairs with a warm therapeutic pool ahhhhh yes! Mani & pedi available . The breakfast is continental and warm yummy multigrain baby crescents (sp) rolls and fresh eggs and good coffee! Dinner in the hotel is delicious and very reasonable. Buy a drink card for 10€ and Enjoy 2 aperoil sprits or your delights! Walk the property- sunflowers were in bloom this year- the opening square takes a casual 15 mins round trip . There are also apts avail for families on the property also very comfortable for families. Play areas, And a pony! Friendly welcoming staff and housekeepers. It’s really only 1.5 hrs from Rome. And well worth the trip! The SEA and It’s boardwalk not far by car. Leonardo the manager is internationally trained and excellent at client relations and setting up our events.
