Dirty Sheets at the Avid Hotel in Grovetown Georgia

Well I haven't written a review in a while, I apologize for that. This needs to be said though. We checked into our hotel and almost immediately had to go to our venue. After we arrived back at the hotel, on our way back to our room there was an awful smell in the hallway, UGH!! O.k. strike one, smell wasn't there when we first arrived. Pulled down the bedding to go to sleep and OMG the sheets were DIRTY and obviously they were not changed after the previous guests left. Should have taken a picture!! Called management and the evening registration gentleman brought clean sheets Not pillowcases and changed the sheets. Advised us to tell the manager in the morning when we checked out. Of course he apologized and gave us a credit....$10.00 off the bill. HOW Generous of him. Guess we will not be staying there again!

This is by far one of the best IHG stays I’ve had in awhile. The front desk reception was warm and welcomed me with a gift. The rooms were clean and spacious and shower was hot which is rare. They were responsive to emails and treated me like a Platinum member! I will be looking for Avid locations going forward.

Last week, I stayed at Avid with family and friends. Vic Patel and his assistant manager Kristin went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests. Kristin is a gem of a person!! The cleanliness and overall ambience of the hotel was so welcoming. A great grab and go breakfast everyday and 24 hour coffee was a winner with our crowd. If you are in the area, look no further and experience it for yourself!

I stayed at this lovely hotel with my family during my recent visit to Augusta, GA. Impressed by this clean and modern property and the friendly staff. Great amenities as well and loved the freshly ground 24x7 coffee.

Should rename to Cutting Corners Hotel

This is a new construction, clean and in a good area. But the rooms lack closet space or ANY place to put your belongings, you get hooks on the walls! Breakfast is horrible, no laundry room as well. This place was obviously built with cost number one concern, customers obviously somewhere else. My organization will definitely be staying somewhere else in the future.
