Hotel of Terror
Avaliou em 1 de Novembro de 2019
It really was a hotel out of a horror movie, bad smell, outdated, creepy, questionable sheets, very uncomfortable bed, shady, curtains that people can peek in Plus inept customer service, would not recommend even for my enemies. Looks fine form the outside but probably haven’t been updated since the 1970’s, and location is good, only reason it deserves one star.

We had a 4 day conference of about 100 people from all over the country of Mexico with different economic backgrounds. This was possible because of David and his staff worked with our situation. Our committee looked all over Guadalajara to find a hotel that had good prices and allow us to have a conference room within our budget, and this hotel was the only one who wrote us back/called us back as well as accommodate all our needs. The hotel worked around the clock to make sure that everyone was cared for and did so by going above and beyond what we asked. We are very thankful for all David and his staff. We would come back for sure! We highly recommend this hotel for large group conferences.
You will travel back in time!

I am a mexican citizen and I intended to stay in this hotel but when I saw the facilities I immediately changed my mind. This hotel has seen better times. The furniture and decoration will make you travel to 1980 or late 1970. The sofas at the reception are old and dirty. The elevator is old as well. When they showed me the master suite I was impressed about the smell and looking of the old rug. If you don't mind staying in a hotel which is old and with stains on the carpets, you will be fine. To finish this story I didn't stay there. They still have keys to open the room door instead of cards. I think this hotel is ok for young students with short budget but for a family.
A thief here has your room keys

Beware of this hotel! My laptop was stolen there from my well-locked room in the early evening hours, just after my check-in, when I went out for dinner. I locked the strong room door with my two keys, which I took with me. In the 3rd floor, there was no way in - unless the thief had the hotel keys to my room. The laptop was replaced, inside its bag, by a phonebook, as to hide the theft until later - obviously the thief could not leave the hotel immedeately as he/she had to finish the work shift first. And only some hotel staff knew that I was going out for dinner, and had come with a laptop.
Especially disappointing was the hotel manager, who the next day did not offer any compensation, neither did he succeed to get my laptop back from interviewing his staff. It now turns out (see an earlier report on this site), that theft has happened in this hotel since some time before, and the management did nothing to improve the situation. You can bet, that the same thief is still there, waiting for you and your valuables!!
Hotel staff are thieves

One of the hotel staff entered our room a few hours after our arrival. They stole some cash, 2 cameras, 2 cell phones and few other miscellaneous things. The door was not forced. Obviously the person had a key. The management said it was not their responsibility and the police didn't care either. Do not stay at this hotel unless you ALWAYS take ALL of your valuables with you.
