A quiet place, offering a wide menu. All served by two friendly ladies. The meat was enough for an army! Lovely. Wine local. Prices reasonable. Parking no problem. Drinking and alcohol free beer..... problem. No beer without alcohol.

Friendly and comfortable hotel

The room (suite) was simple, clean and spacious. Large bathroom (bath tub and separate shower booth), separate toilet and comfortable bed. Very good breakfast with large variety. The owner is very kind and willing to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Easy to find parking spot. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed one night at L'Ermitage. Staff very friendly and helpful, the hotel has been refurbished well and gives the impression of a boutique hotel. Bedroom was spacious, clean, air conditioned and comfortable.(Great mattress, pillows typically French). The food was reasonably priced and excellent. The Beer was interesting but a long drive next day limited tasting. Church bells silent during sleeping hours. A great place to stay if you can get a good deal, but not sure I would pay the full 95€ a night.

A rare find and well worth seeking out. Good sized rooms and suites. Private parking for motorbikes. Brewery on site and great beer to try. Good food in their restaurant. Lovely hosts. Comfy beds. Air conditioned rooms. Perfect.
Holidaymistake
Disappointing but reasonable price

The Hotel is quite a distance from any amenities. The restaurant was closed the night we were there for a private function so, we had to drive to Hagenau to get food. They make quite good beer at L'Ermitage but the bar wasn't open at 4 as promised and the cleaner had to go locate someone to open it. Spectacular view of the Basilica from our window but frustrating to get any help. Room was basic and a bit tired. It felt as though we were an imposition.
