Perfect for our snow holiday

We stayed at this hotel after a recommendation from a friend who’s stayed here 3 times, and it was perfect. We stayed in a studio room for a week, had a kitchen, plenty of heating but could also open the window for fresh air - aircon/heating temperatures are adjustable. Plenty of amenities provided, almost didn’t need to bring any toiletries! Bed was comfortable and big. The hotel picked us up and also dropped us off to/from the bus stop complimentary. The staff were friendly and helpful assisting us with making some reservations, and hotel also offered a shuttle service to the supermarket each day at 4.45pm, but if you didn’t want to cook there is plenty of restaurants within very short walking distance including restaurant in hotel. Ski/snowboard rental shop right next door, and hotel provides locker room to store your gear. Hotel has lovely mountain views and is across the road from the Sakka slopes (3 chair lifts), we could get on and off the slopes at our own leisure. We hope to be back soon!

Very spacious, clean, and warm apartment. Excellent location - the Rabbit Hole is directly across the street if you want a lively pub, the restaurant in the hotel is great for a quieter night. The best scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast I’ve ever had. Ample off street parking.

Such a great place to stay. Very helpful staff keen to assist. Free shuttle to dinner & grocery store. Highly recommended! Very lovely people. Included is kitchen, heated floors, a/c, bath, drying room, board/gear room, view of mountains!

Koharu was great during our entire trip. I would definitely recommend Koharu to others and stay there again. For my first time in Hakuba it was more than I could have asked for. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

We have just spent 5 nights at the Koharu Resort in Hakuba. Right from arrival at the Hakuba bus terminal we were picked up by Jacob and driven to our accommodation up in the beautiful Wadano forest area. Our studio apartment was perfect for 2. Fully self contained, with washing machine and well appointed kitchen. The bonus was the bathroom that can be used as a drying room given it has its own heating/drying system. The location is awesome with plenty of restaurants and bars close by and ski rental store and cafe downstairs. The staff were so friendly and helpful during our stay. They even run you into town to pick up supplies from the supermarket if needed. We loved our visit and will definitely be back to Koharu.
