Small property; no elevator; good price
Avaliou em 28 de junho de 2022
This location is right across from PennState, so super convenient if visiting there. The brand is trying to be a Hampton Inn. This facility is small and lacks an elevator, which we didn't know when booked. So, if you have trouble with stairs, be sure to ask for a ground-floor room! The room was clean. The fitted sheet was very worn/thin. The coffee in the lobby was incredibly weak. The biscuits and gravy were good/standard. The waffles were Chocolate and crazy delicious...like warm little cakes. Everyone behind the counter was friendly and professional. Rooms are not cleaned during your stay unless you request it. I needed fresh towels and was instructed to bring my dirty towels to the front desk to get clean ones. I know they are short-staffed, so I understood, but it felt a little weird carrying my dirty towels down to the lobby. We stayed in a Jacuzzi room, and we really loved it. They had shampoo/conditioner/soap in the room. However, the Jacuzzi is not for 2 people, (unless you are incredibly small) it's a jetted tub. We are healthy size adults (not overweight) - My husband is 169lbs and 5'10"; I wear a size medium. BUT, we didn't even attempt to get in together. That said, the price point on this room was terrific compared to others in the Erie area, so it was worth the little drive outside of downtown.

Very clean & pleasant

It's clean and the staff members are all friendly. They give you plenty of towels as well as daily necessities to make your stay pleasant. It's definitely a place that I'd stay again when visiting the area.

Look Can Be Deceiving - Don't Stay in 119

Despite the exterior look and the room (bed, cabinets, etc.) being somewhat updated I would never stay here again. Arrived at 1pm knowing that if we couldn't early check in it was no big deal but when talking to whom I assume was the manager he seemed very rude about it like it was a strange request or I was putting him out. No worries I said we'll be back. Came back to check in with two nice ladies who were very friendly so will give them that however as we walked to our room the first thing we noticed is it was a handicap room. Why would you give this to a couple who was clearly not handicap? Not only was it handicap but backed on to the pool. I have seen people write the pool is open until 8pm which isn't correct as we heard people up until 10pm. Very loud as it is a pool with people playing and yelling. That was another thing. Thin walls. I could hear our neighbors on the other side clear as day. Turned up the TV so I would hear them as much. Also could hear above stomping around and actually going to the washroom above us if we were in the washroom. Breakfast was weak. I understand what it is as I have stayed many places however it went to 10am and when I went out there at 8:30am to check it out there were 3 pieces of bread, no what I assume was muffins in the top bin. You have 1 1/2 hours left and pretty much no food? Eggs and Sausage didn't look appetizing either. Went out both days for breakfast instead. So if noise, breakfast, and management are keys to your stay I would look somewhere else.

We liked the location, and the staff was lovely. Real eggs for breakfast….a room that rivaled the Hilton. we really appreciated the cost was reasonable. My friend and I agreed will not pay 150.00 to stay in a hotel….where we just clean up and sleep. The industry has jacked their prices since covid and less amenities. It’s making travel only for the “ haves “ and the mc like me can’t plan getaways. We tip well and appreciate places like this….

We recently came for a wedding and stayed at the Cobblestone. From check in to check out the process was very smooth. The staff was polite and friendly, the rooms were very clean and the bed was comfy!
