Enjoyed my brief stay for business in both Brownsville and Edinburgh, arriving on SW Airlines in Harlingen. This Marriott Residence Inn was comfortable and staff engagement was good at check-in. The computers to print a backup boarding pass would not bring up the SW airlines flight check-in page, but the desk staff assisted on hotel desk staff computer. Both the lobby and guest room were clean. Missing typical bathroom lotion and amenities were provided at desk on request.

Full disclosure,I didn’t have a room so I can’t comment on that, but I had a long layover and asked as a Marriott member if I could come from the airport and wait in the lobby. They were so helpful, sent a shuttle right away, helped me get on the internet and I spent 5 hours productive instead of twiddling my thumbs at the airport! Thank you staff!

We were very impressed with this hotel. The accommodations were excellent. We booked a king suite room 426. It was a corner room and was spacious for our 4 night stay. We chose this location because it was close to the highway and restaurants. Paul was very helpful with restaurant information. Will stay again

First I was scheduled to stay there for several months. I made it 28 days before I couldn't take it anymore. first one of the elevators was down the entire stay. never saw anyone there to fix it. Next the grill and firepit have been broken for a while, was told since the freeze last year. Next the pool was only open part of the time. and the last thing that made me move hotels was no hot water for over 5 days. I got the impression that the owners don't want to invest in their hotel. maid service was only 3 days a week, which I can live with just not accustomed too. the breakfast was sup par, the happy hour was merely ok. Not worth the extra money to stay there for a few drinks of bud light.

Check in was not the smoothest, but the agent working the front desk was trying his best.(Leo) When I got to my room I saw that they had put me in a accessible room which I did not request, so I went back and this was corrected, I did have to wait about 10-15 minutes before my room was ready but no other issues. Will definitely be back to this hotel
