Beautiful place. Serenity every where. Rooms r big size n clean with awesome view of the river . Kids friendly room, food was very testy , pool and play area. A must visit . Highly highly recommend. 😊

NIGHTMARE AT ITS WORST

Horrible Terrible Pathetic These are only some of the dignified words which can be used publicly for this place. The hotel people think that they are doing a charity and are keeping you here for free and feeding you. Not a single helpful person from the so called hotel. If you compare it to a dormitory it is a BIG INSULT for the dormitories. IT IS AN ABSOLUTELY NO VISIT PLACE. Almost every guest here is through some travel agent.

We went to its another branch "Gold India Resort" initially, to our horror rooms were fungus ridden, furniture was broken and rooms filled with damp smell. We had to ask our known to , to change the hotel. Thereafter we were shifted to its another hotel named "Joye Grand" and again a pathetic experience. No water, No service, free breakfast which they provide was pathetic. On requesting to give packed breakfast as we all need to move early morning for adventure and sight seeing, but they didn't give. Apart from this hotel owner is a uncourteous person and only money minded. Strongly request everyone to avoid Joye Grand, Gold India Resort and one more. There are three hotels of same owner.

The hotel is not worth staying with the family. The staff is very rude. Had to wait for half an hour to check in and another 2 hours to get a bottle of water. Place is very unsafe as it has glass on the front of which many are broken. Anyone can enter the room. The staff keeps on disturbing everytime. No working intercom. Even mobile networks don't work inside the rooms. We had booked 2 rooms and couldn't contact with each other. The toilets are having transparent glass that too with a curtain from outside, anyone can peek inside. The food is pathetic and highly charged. It destroyed my entire Havelock trip. No one should ever visit this hotel.

we stayed in this hell hole for 3 days 11.11. 2019 to 14.11.2019. This property is no better than a sarai or a dharamshala. We were made to wait 2 hours for check-in. The linen was not changed. I had to pay the housekeeping boy to get the fresh linen. The toiletry was 3rd rate. Had to go to market to get our own shampoo and soap. The restaurant had flies swarming on chafing dishes and the breakfast menu was chana bhatura or puri alu on all the three days. The property is littered with construction debris and thrown away PET water bottles. The staff is poorly trained and they function from housekeeping to front desk and waiting staff. NO INTERNET despite being included in charges and promised as per voucher. No professionalism. The best way to describe this is "A chindi set up". yatra.com my tour planner can choose this property is also a commentary on their ethics and treatment of their clients. Avoid this hell hole and yatra.
