Lunch

Best salad I've ever had! Cajun chicken salad, was delicious 😋 lots of salad, a boiled egg, delicious chicken, small herby potatoes & garlic bread! Yum! We will definitely return, can thoroughly recommend.

Arrived in Haworth Wednesday evening around 7.30pm and needed somewhere to eat. Didn’t realise you needed to book in advance in any of the eateries on Main Street! Gave up and decided to go for a walk instead and discovered The Old Sun. This little gem is situated at the top of Howorth Main Street hill just across the road. We received a warm and friendly welcome from the lovely Willow who provided excellent customer service. She served us straightaway and we had delicious, good quality, reasonably priced, piping hot food. Checked out the other customers food and it all looked mouth watering too! The place had a great atmosphere and a lovely rustic interior. Honestly can't recommend this place. enough. Also recommend a visit to the Bronte museum in Haworth and The Apothecary Guest House on Main Street is lively too!

A Pub with no Whisky

Called in on a Friday Lunch. Food very good. Service fine. Always finish with a coffee and a malt.Guess what, only whiskey they had was an empty bottle of Jamison or a Jack Danial. Not even a cheap whisky. A Pub with no whisky very strange.

Poor quality and over priced

Two of us went for lunch. Just wanted a pleasant sandwich and a soft drink. Sandwiches strangely came with chips I guess to justify the £7.95 price tag. We asked for salad instead. They said ok. Sandwiches arrived one with nothing the other with chips. The sandwiches were literally 2 slices of sliced bread with 2 slices of ham. For 7.95! Total over £20. Plenty better in the village.

We’re on a weeks holiday from Norfolk and popped in The Old Sun on our first day for a few drinks and a light bite while waiting to get into our accommodation. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we set foot in the place. The service, food and drink was superb. Day 2 of our holiday we went there again for dinner, drinks and cocktails again absolutely amazing service, food, drinks and delicious cocktails. We can’t wait to go again, I highly recommend this place. Keep up the great work, if we lived here this would definitely be our local 👌
