Dishonest and negligent people. Very poor customer service.

I stayed in one of their spa villas in March 2022. The villa was nice but they had a very noisy electrical chain sword working next to it for the whole duration of my stay. It was like sitting in a dentist's chair having my teeth drilled, I actually developed a very bad headache. Surely, they could have arranged maintenance work when they guests are not there! To add insult to injury, they actually did not return $250 which they took off my credit card when I checked in. Despite my numerous reminders via email and also several phone calls, the money is still not returned. Dishonest and negligent people, how dare they just steal money off me, even though I did not take any of their supplies. Do not go there, they do not care for you, but happy to rip you off. Pathetic and very poor customer service. I would not recommend this joint to any of my friends and make sure as many people as possible know about their dismissive attitude.

Brilliant for Couples

Incredibly hard to understand the set-up and rather expensive, but well worth it. Once you can fathom how it all works, you'll have fun. The suite was beautiful, stylish and just brilliant. We had two lovely nights here, massages nearby and went to the Bath-house next door for a great soak. Lots of supplies and everything you could possibly need, except for meals. Everything is close by to explore and the Village itself is just gorgeous.

This is not a luxury experience

Deeply disappointed by this accommodation. The service is poor to non-existent. At reception they give you a door access code and that is it. They could not assist us in turning to fire completely off, getting the television to work, or any other queries. A person came to fix the TV and gave up after 30 minutes. Also there is no WiFi - ridiculous for this level / cost of accommodation. The room looked great on the surface however had the following issues: -- bad servicing, a mess of cables which had not been secured and a pair of underwear still in the cupboard (classy!) -- terrible design, the fire does not turn off so constantly sends a low level of heat, and the aircon does not match the size of the room. It was mid-20s temperature when we stayed and by the end of the day it was uncomfortably hot. -- impractical design. Side windows next to the bed (and everywhere) meant that to get changed you had to hide in the loo, or close all the blinds. And the fireplace is positioned so that it blocks the view from the bed. Shower visible from out the windows too! -- a kitchen that was useless. No bowls (we ate cereal out of the water glasses), insufficient cutlery for 2 people and a random assortment of kitchen gear / crockery which meant that what was it was impractical to do anything other than open wine or a pack of dip. It felt very much like someone intended to delivery luxury and then skimped on the design, furnishing (couch from Freedom!) and taking the time to plan a functional and enjoyable space.

Not worth the money and not a 5 star hotel experience

My partner and I started booked the Hepburn Spa Retreat as it was listed as 5 star. In room #1 there were marks on the walls, one room had paint peeling off, the spa had silicon missing along the seal line + the aircon struggled to keep the room cool on a warm day. My partner left her dress behind in the closet after we left and after multiple calls about this over several days the staff were useless locating the dress and only 1 person out of multiple staff handled this issue with care and professionalism (thank you Matt). Don’t stay here if you want a 5 star experience and only if you want a 3 star with 1 star service.

Nice stay but not quite luxury

Highlight Lovely shower and spa bath which is the main attraction. Nice self contained villa Low lights: No WiFi and poor reception No door mats meant dirt and water in the villa, had to use towels on the floor No doona- sheets used instead Reception is hard to contact which seems consistent with other reviews No priority access to the Hepburn spa which is often booked out for weeks so book in advance Toilet is not private so hopefully you are close with your partner ;)
