Charming hotel, wonderful service

I booked this hotel directly and received an airport pick up and a dinner for two. We arrived early in the morning and were welcomed with warmth and smiles. There are 6 rooms on site, we had the place to ourselves for the first couple days and enjoyed the solitude of the garden and pool. The bedrooms are spacious, TV and good air conditioning. The mattresses are pretty dense which would have bothered me if the service hadn't been so wonderful. The hotel organised for a motorbike to be brought for our use - the rental company gave us a couple of good quality ponchos and an emergency phone if we needed to contact them. Breakfast was made to order, a simple menu, eggs, noodles, baguette, fruit. The Vietamese iced coffee was the bomb! The complimentary dinner was absolutely delicious - perfect spring rolls, a salad, fish in a clay pot, stir fry veg and rice. I highly recommend you have dinner one night. The location is a few kms from the town and beach - you can easily get taxis to get around.

Beautiful property, great location and the host, Vy, was the friendliest and most helpful person I met on the whole trip. My family of 5 had the best experience. There were also bikes available for free, making transport easy.

We stayed here for a week as a family of 4 and fell in love with the place! Vy, the owner, couldn't do enough to help and was so warm and welcoming. Breakfast each morning was delicious, served in the beautiful garden, overlooking the pool. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a great bathroom. The pool was lovely and the surrounding tropical plants and bamboo huts in this family run hotel made for a fantastic setting. As the villa is slightly out of Hoi An itself (a 100,000VND/£3 taxi ride or a short bike ride) it had the advantage of a beautiful, peaceful rural setting. We felt like we got a feel for the real Vietnam. There was a little shop at the end of the road where you could buy snacks, bottles of water or even a meal. Or there were more options a short bike ride away. However, the minibar was very reasonably priced for the days we wanted to just relax by the pool! We happened to arrive home from our evening meal one night when Vy and his family were harvesting the shrimp from the surrounding lakes. They made us feel really welcome and encouraged us to watch and join in. It was a real highlight to our holiday! I would definitely recommend this place, it was excellent value for money.

Paradise in Hoi An

We stayed here as a family of 4 (2 adults children 11 & 14) it could not have been more perfect. From arriving to leaving nothing was too much trouble for the owners and their family. The rooms were immaculate and air-conditioned with lovely fresh bedding, ample amount of towels and a mini bar fridge. Breakfast was superb with copious amounts of fresh fruit, warm bread and home made jam along with a choice of cooked options and of course lots of hot fresh coffee. The pool was clean and well maintained again lots of clean towels at hand. The property is set in a beautiful location just a short 5 minute taxi out of town which was perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of bust Hoi An. The owners arranged airport transport along with drivers fro the numerous day trip we wanted to do they also provided complimentary bikes should we have wanted to venture off into the countryside exploring. I highly recommend Pomelo as a gem to stay in when in Hoi An.

Our family of 5 stayed at this hotel. What a wonderful experience we had! Excellent service, clean, beautiful scenery. Great location. Very good value for money. The owner Vy was so kind and helpful from arranging taxis , to delicious breakfast and arranging for our laundry to be done. The swimming pool was beautiful. Thank you Vy for a great time!
