Muito Bom!!!

O restaurante do hotel é maravilhoso. Almoçamos lá no "Dia de Ação de Graças" um banquete. Tinha de frutos do mar até a comida típica americana. Atendimento muito bom..a torta de chocolate foi a melhor coisa que já comi..kkk

The Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa stay.

Avaliou em 21 de março de 2023

For the most part we enjoyed the stay. The rooms were not automatically made up: we had to ask for it. You could have told us that up front. Our keys didn't work on two of the three days we were there. Mostly, the hotel was good, the grounds were nice. The food was good. The staff were friendly. Thank you.

Beware of loud banging noise from the fireplace

Avaliou em 18 de março de 2023

Our room had a fireplace, which was nice until it made loud banging noises that startled both us and our little dog. You may wish to look into that; we were in room 201. Also, some more amenities in the room could make the hotel more comparable with its peers, e.g., in-room coffee maker, toiletries, etc. We understood that the $50 for a pet was policy, but our little 5lb yorkie hardly warranted that - besides being barking when she was frightened by the loud noise made by the fireplace, she was a perfect guest.

Surrounded by beauty

Wonderful grounds, beautiful scenery, exquisite rooms. A lovely combination of beauty and history. The tastefully decorated restaurant is superb. Great service too, especially the bartender and Jasmine at the front desk.

F. Scott Fitzgerald would have loved it here.

We stayed at hotel for a couple of days. Its an updated 102 year old hotel. Very quaint and charming but set your expectations that it is old. The staff are extremely helpful and are trying their best in a very difficult environment when there are lot of other options around. Like many hotels of their class, in the historical register, you are mostly paying for the vistas , charm and history, the food is ok, but not great and the building does have its issues, but it is 102 years old. A smaller, older crowd was predominant which for us was a plus. And we still had a ball with the lounge piano player on Friday night and danced as he regaled us with a variety of music from country to funk. If you ever feel like you wanted to be alive during the roaring 20s and hang out with the great Gatsby and F. Scott Fitzgerald, the CGH is your opportunity.
