And this is judging by the fact that the property somehow overbooked & gave our room away despite the fact it was reserved a month in advance. Didn't inform us until we showed up at the property! And were not helpful in obtaining another room.

Do not stay at this hotel. This was the worst experience for my family. The desk worker called the police on us!!! They called us at 5:30 pm the day of our arrival telling us that they overbooked do we could have a room with less amenities for the same price and they would not charge us the cancellation fee. What??? It just got worse as we attempted to talk face to face. Local police got us a confirmation of our cancelled stay. Due to the proximity to Mammoth Caves the law enforcement was very kind and gave us suggestions of where to stay. If I could give negative stars I would.

I booked a suite using my points, if it was not for that I would have left and went to the Holiday Inn across the street. This is an old hotel, that is trying to get updated but not doing a good job! The room was made a suite by combining two rooms together, great 2 bathrooms. However the 2nd bathroom had no door. The couch was ripped on both arms. The lamp shades were damaged. I counted 6 lamps in the rooms we had a couch, chair and a desk in the bedroom with 2 queen beds. The beds were not fully made, had to go to desk for sheets. There was no security lock on the door or weather stripping at the bottom, used a towel to keep bugs and air out. The breakfast was nothing. They had bread, waffles, cold cereal , juice, coffee and yogurt. But could not manage to keep that up. Upon checking out both staff members where standing out front smoking instead for clean up the breakfast area or waiting on guests.

Terrible. The desk clerk double charged, was told that I would receive a refund within 72 hours, 9 days later still no refund. The room had a lot of spiders,ants and smelled of pet urine. Breakfast was mediocre at best. No management on duty. Personnel on duty wasn't very helpful. Will never stay there again. Would give it zero stars if I had the option.

Hotel so outdated. Said it was non smoking and our room had a stench of smoke. It was disgusting. People next door actively smoking too which made it even more worse. Outdated and pet hair all over the floor. Not worth trying to save a little money. Never stay here
