Minha casa em Houston!
Parece exagero, mas é verdade! Estar neste hotel é como estar em sua casa! A equipe é maravilhosa! Destaque especial a Dina e ao Nicolas! Todos extremamente atenciosos e solícitos! Nem sei explicar o tanto que eles fizeram por mim e pela minha família! Só tenho a agradecer! Quartos muito espaçosos e limpos! Roupas de cama de boa qualidade! Tem uma mini cozinha no quarto com alguns itens básicos, mas tudo que vc precisar , basta pedir na cozinha que eles trazem! Café da manhã muito bom para os padrões norte americanos! Comida feita com muito carinho pela Dina! Tudo que precisei no café da manhã ela fez com a maior boa vontade! Eles têm uma sala de internet e impressora à disposição 24 hs por dia. Lavanderia para hóspedes usarem por conta. Itens de higiene e banho disponíveis e repostos dia a dia. Água grátis nos quartos, bolachinha e chás! Localização excelente! Recomendo e ficarei aqui novamente quando eu voltar a Houston!
Localização muito boa, perto do Buffalo Park - para caminhada
O Hotel não chega a ser deslumbrante, mas para viagem de negócios e pela permanência longa que ficquei (15 dias). O Hotel atende as expectativas. A localização é muito boa e de fácil acesso as vias expressas de Houston.
We stayed in this hotel in March during our app was renovated after flooding. I would give 5* for everything. Location: Next to Downtown (what is extremely convenient for business trips and tourists). In walking distance from the hotel you can find some bars and café. Hotel has a private free parking for guests. Which is very important for Houston, where the cheapiest parking spot is 5$ per hour. Rooms are spacious, fresh and clean. You have a comfortable king size bed, tv (about600 channels), free high speed wi-fi, individual air conditioner, safe, coffee machine, microwave, beverage set, mini bar, bath amenities. Restaurant: There is a restaurant on the first floor where you can get breakfast. Eggs, potato cakes, taco, pancakes, w waffles, fruits, yogurt, cakes, cereal, lemonade, tea, coffee etc. Facility: There is a small gym, laundry, game place on the first floor, outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. The staff was super friendly and kind. We have warm memory about this place. They have a special atmosphere. You feel like home. I would say special thanks to Erica. She was very helpful and nice. I hope to meet with them again. We strongly recommend Best Western Plus Downtown Inn & Suites hotel!
Not so great location for Family
Location is right outside the city, very close to local bars/clubs, which led to a very loud, noisy wake up calls at 2am. You can very clearly hear your neighbors. Parking was right outside your window so we heard every car rev their engine. Breakfast area was small so it made it kind of difficult to avoid sitting near the very same people. The front desk (around 4pm) didn’t seem to happy or welcoming.. the hotel itself is in great shape. The rooms were great & clean, the cleaning lady was so nice & sweet.. location is the main reason for the issues. Also I am not from Houston so it would have been nice to be told of the non working ice machine, as well as the water issues before hand.
I just wanted to share my thoughts about something that happened to me on Wednesday afternoon. I was in the process of moving to a new home and I had been packing pretty much for 2 days. I was loading my car with everything that it would hold to make my move inexpensive. Well, I had a meeting in downtown Houston at 6pm on Wednesday as well. Long story short, I drove an hour away from my home and walked out the door without my pure. No DL, no cash or credit cards. I did not realize this until my gas light came on and I pulled over for gas...duh...no purse. I was in complete panic mode. Well, I started to pray, asking God to show me the way, and just help me. When I tell you that God showed up and then He showed out...He literally guided my car...keep in mind now that the needle was behind the 0...and no logical explanation for the car to still be driving. God wheeled my car into the parking lot at The Best Western on Dallas St. I went to the counter, and there she was...My 1st Angel, Erica G...Ms Erica gave me $10.00 to put gas in my car. Ms. Tanya, Angel #2 said, hold on and Mr. John, Angel #3 was then in the mix. He picked me up in the Best Western Shuttle and drive me to the gas station and pumped the gas in The Best Western Gas Can and drive me back to my car and poured the gas in..OMG! I then took the $8.00 cash left over and drove my car to the same station to get gas. I don’t even know how to show My 3 Angels how much they helped me, and just how appreciative I am. I was scared and alone and I just couldn’t think. I had called several friends, but none picked up their phones. I literally thought that some harm would come to me if I were not able to leave the location that I pulled into to get gas. God himself drive my empty car and pulled it into The Best Western parking lot. Ms. Erica. Ms. Tanya and Mr. John...y’all are Amazing. You just jumped in to help a stranger that you didn’t know, and one that had no ID....Wow, I am beyond grateful. To The Best Western Management..you have 3 of the Most Incredible human beings working for your company, and I just hope you know that this is representative of your culture, and it speaks volumes about the type of company that you’ve created. I applaud your staff, and their compassion for a total stranger. God will always put people in your path to help you on your journey. My footsteps were covered. Thank you from my heart! Tanya
