Wow! Absolutely the worst place to stay! I was stuck in Houston due to flight issues and this was the hotel the airlines sent me too. First off the airport shuttle was disgusting! I didn't feel safe in it. The location was totally sketchy, prostitutes and pimps walking in the parking lot! Safety clearly was not high on their priority list. Checking in was surprisingly easy. The room, oh my gosh, so filthy! The walls were stained with grease and dirt. The bathroom walls had crusty stuff on them. They offered no toiletries, not sure I would have taken a shower if I had them. The shower, well you can imagine! Lucky for us we only had to stay there 5 hrs, because of the shuttle times, had to go to the airport 4 hrs before my flight. At this point, I'd rather be at the airport.

Nice and easy checkinn, I got room upstairs was no issue it was pretty quite! They had small office table which was very neat for my work, I had room facing the pool I enjoyed the view all day! Pillows were big enough for me, great hot and clean shower

Got in late into Houston, United cancelled my flight, so they gave me a voucher for this hotel. Called to get info on the free shuttle. The guy at the front desk told me twice how to catch the shuttle and the exact location ( C,C105) I hopped in the shuttle, and upon arriving at front desk was told I was at the WRONG RedRoofInn and that there are many different ones in this location. Called the The front desk of the original RedRoof and the guy tells me "it's my responsibility to check the shuttle is the correct one". I followed his instructions and got in a "RedRoofInn" shuttle. Would have been nice if he had given a simple " check it's the right shuttle", but he did not. Stay away If it starts this badly before check-in, it's a mess Never will stay there. Beware.

The Elevator was broken. Broken indoor and outdoor pool. Locked gym with no key to be found, no creamer for coffee in rooms, no breakfast, a/c doesn’t cool, was told all management quit. Clean room at least. Front desk dismissive about the entire thing and didn’t even attempt an apology.

Was stuck overnight at IAH due to a late night flight cancellation and needed a place to crash. Didn’t want to spend a lot of money as needing a hotel room was unexpected and I’d only be crashing there, so booked a room at the Red Roof Inn Plus+ near IAH. The room was large, clean, the bed and sheets and pillows comfortable, the room air conditioner worked well, the shower was hot with good pressure, it wasn’t noisy - couldn’t hear the nearby highway of other hotel guests, and they have a shuttle to return you to the airport in the morning. It was less than half the price of one of the more newly built similar hotel chains (e.g., Springhill Suites). The Red Roof Inn Plus+ is an aging version of those newer brands, and is noticeably run down, but is a great value for the money.
