Great value, good location, excellent staff, and great room

This property is easy to get to, clean and tidy, and the amenities in the room were terrific. The room layout makes it feel far more spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the staff -- from checkin to checkout -- could not have been nicer. Every time I saw someone with the hotel, they spoke, asked about my stay, and thanked me for being there, from maintenance to desk staff to housekeeping. I felt valued as a guest. This was a great experience for me, and the breakfast was really one of the best I've had from a hotel. It was fresh, hot, well-prepared, and the serving staff did a great job. All in all, it's an excellent choice, I think. You are ten to fifteen minutes from a variety of restaurants, a giant HEB and Target are less than a block away, and the people working there are friendly and make certain that your stay is going well. One of my best recent hotel experiences! They even have on-site laundry facilities for guests - all you need is detergent. The fitness center was well-appointed, the pool was sparkling, and everything was clean and well-kept. Thanks to everyone there for a terrific stay.

Reserved a 2 bedroom suite on 5/18. Arrived at 3pm on 5/28. Was told they could not accommodate my reservation that they were fully booked. Marriott never gave me a curtesy call to make me aware of change. Still ended up charging my card for a 2 bedroom suite. I’m a Marriott Gold member and hotel did not try to go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Hotel staff will not look at your Marriott member preferences and will not accommodate prior to your arrival, Hotel staff allows non guest loitering at hotel benches at midnight. Loiters are drinking, smoking, and partying after midnight. Carpets are old and smell. Beds are not comfortable. Pull out coach is springy. Pillows are flat. AC units are loud and do not cool. Find a HILTON!! Marriott has lost this rewards member.

This property needs some love and updating. The location and price are good BUT the property needs updating bad. The rooms are spacious and perfect for a big family. There's a kitchenette and perfect for a long stay.

Awful Experience

I feel awful for the very nice and hardworking employees of this property. They really try their best to accommodate guests. Sadly the property through no fault of their own is in awful disrepair. It’s a great deal price-wise, but frankly everything from the furniture to the building itself is in awful condition. I do hope owners invest and revitalize this property otherwise I don’t see this remaining as a Marriott branded property. Simple things from toasters not working, mismatched coffee machines, to burst pipes and leaks to the tech room leaving everyone without Internet, TV and water. Issues of this scale are not the employees fault, it’s the owners not reinvesting and upgrading the property as necessary.

My Family and I stayed here for two months after selling our home waiting for our next move. Erica the Director of Sales was very professional, helpful and pleasant. She always had a smile on her face. We stayed in the two room suite with kitchenette. They offer free breakfast for those that want it also free laundry facility which helps with long stays. The pool is nice it was not open when we stayed. The front desk associates friendly and helpful. This location is walking distance to target (less than 5min) close to banks and other restaurants. Also easy access to 249. Our stay here was very good. The Property Manager Omar also very helpful.
