great value but wi-fi is bad

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Overall value is good, the staffs are extremely welcoming. But the wi-fi they provided is not usable.Super slow and cannot load anything. Also there are some broken outlets in my room. The one in the bathroom is very annoying.

Maybe consider for a last resort

My room had what looked like blood stains running from the door to the bathroom. I wondered why the cable wasn't working and discovered the set top box was hanging by a thread of wire - it worked when set in the right position. I filled the kettle and boiled it, but it leaked out all over the table, floor, and my stuff. It also had a cable worn down to bare wires, so I was lucky to have wet stuff instead of burnt stuff. Breakfast was good, at least.

Convenient location Attentive Staffs

My husband biked around the island this is second to the last stop. Came with our 3 year old boy by train to meet him. Staffs were very attentive, price, probably due to Corona Virus was really reasonable and food tastes great specially the deep fried salmon fish !

Unpleasant hotel

Don't take any notice of the deceptive website. This hotel is below standard and at least 1k away from downtown. The modern look of the ground floor area is the only distinctive feature. Reception staff are sour, and the corridors to the room are poorly lit, perhaps in an attempt to disguise the stained carpet. The room itself was OK if a little cramped and poorly laid out. Breakfast was woeful, with limited choices; the salads look as if they were chopped a week ago, and hot dishes were an unappetising mixture of overcooked fare. I ended up having toast and a banana just to be on the safe side. Checked out after one night and moved to another hotel for the same price and a much better ambience.

The room was modern and clean, and was of a decently large size. Unfortunately, there was not much of a view - the windows opened to face the next building. The breakfast buffet has a reasonable spread, with both western and asian cuisine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here!
