Quaint and comfortable hotel steps from the main square
Avaliou em 20 de Maio de 2019
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul a lot, the hotel has beautiful surroundings and feels very calm and serene inside. The hotel is literally on the main square so everything in the surroundings couldn’t be closer. All activities in and around Huasca can be organised through the hotel or in the kiosko directly opposite the hotel. We went quadbiking to peña del aire and has a fantastic time.
The rooms are a little dated but the beds are very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Room 15 backs onto a side street and we had no trouble with noise at all on Friday and Saturday night as some others had mentioned.
The included breakfast is very good and consists of a buffet with pastries, yogurt, coffee, fruit and cereals and then you can choose to have something from the a la carte as well like omelettes or chilaquiles. The outdoor patio is really nice and it’s great to have a drink there in the evening. We also had dinner here once and it was fine without being memorable.
Service was mixed as the reception didn’t inform us we had breakfast included initially and didn’t really show us what the hotel had to offer. One of the male waiters was fantastic and offered consistently excellent service.
It’s a shame they turned the pool into a fire pit but I can imagine it gets cold here in winter months in the evening so understandable. We had no need for the fireplace in our room but we definitely would have used it if it had been cooler.
TIP: head to Casa Colobri for amazing cochinita pibil. It is a 20min walk down the road or you can jump in a collectivo, you won’t regret it.
Not an hotel, a motel

As I mentioned in the title, this shouldn’t be called a “hotel”, ¡it is a MOTEL!
First of all, the location is the worst, next the “hotel” is a very noisy house that played a very rude music for the whole 2 nights that I stayed in; the rooms are so small and old, the bad room is also very small and ugly, and the lights of the rooms are damaged because they sometimes light and sometimes not; the hygiene is also not good, when I was about to sleep, there were some stains. The only good thing of the “hotel” is the attendance, which is good and fast.
If you are searching somewhere to stay at Huasca, I don’t recommend you this “hotel”, as Huasca is a very small town. You have to search a lot for a good hotel, but you can find one.
Never stay at this “hotel” (motel) at Huasca if you want to have a comfortable and nice time.
Very nice hotel

A beautiful historic hotel. They treated us very well. The breakfast was great. They had a game room with a ping pong table and a pool table, also a room with books for reading. The rooms had a fireplace. I would definitely stay here again.
A fantastic place to relax on the best location in Huasca

The atmosphere is relaxing. The blue walls, the flowers and the water of the fountain create a cozy environment. A great place to breathe clean air. Best location in the town of Huasca. Close to Santa María Regla, Prismas Basálticos, San Miguel Regla and Peña del Aire.
One of the best lodging I've ever been at!

This little hotel has the local town look, but a particular distinction: Blue coloured walls!
Unique atmosphere, beautifu gardens surrounding the halls and one the most personal attention to guests!
I think I fell in love with its service attitude!
