Was hoping for a fantastic meal

We were looking forward to Sunday lunch here and to be honest it wasn't great. My partner had the roast beef, it was very thinly sliced and not much of it. I had the lamp rump and it was very fatty and the fat was not cooked at all. The bill was over £80 including wine and we both said it was disappointing. The best thing about lunch was the lovely Georgia behind the bar! There are only a few pubs in the village so you would expect them all to be competitive but on price and quality I'm afraid this one isn't.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere the food was excellent I would definitely recommend. Had the pie it was beautiful. Husband had steak and we both agreed best meal we’ve had in a while. Staff friendly and welcoming we will be back soon

A very enjoyable evening, the staff were very pleasant and the food excellent. We had to wait a while for our food but that wasn't a problem for us and it was well worth the wait. We both had the shoulder of lamb which was delicious. We will certainly by going again.

A return to Addingham

We have stayed at the Craven Heifer before under previous owners. Our return stay was an overnight one as a break on our way to the Lake District. Pleased to see that the rooms themed after Yorkshire legends remain. Our room was the De Havilland room in honour of Amy Johnson. The room was spotless clean and well appointed. We had previously stayed in the room themed as a theatrical dressing room in honour of Judy Dench. Having had a peak at the other rooms they are all pretty good. The breakfast was good and well presented. Definitely stay again when we are passing through.

We were pleased the local pub has now an interesting menu, friendly & helpful staff and a good ambience. Food was good and reasonably priced. We will definitely return. We shared some tapas starters which were very tasty & then had fish & chips and lamb rack special.
