Pea hummus, roasted marinated peppers, mint on sourdough. Smoked mackerel with Nicoise salad starters. Bacon chop with hasselback potato, chard, ham hock bonbon in a mustard sauce - delicious. Salmon with saffron gnocchi, samphire and gremalato- equally delicious. 2 courses £21. Part of the Gusto Pronto group, check them out. Consistently very good

The smoked salmon beetroot was generous portion, tasty and nicely presented.
I then had Chicken Supreme, which I would not recommend. It was garlic flavoured Rubber Chicken however it was dressed up.
The main course menu was somewhat limited as the beef was rare and I only like it very well done, and the only other meat option was belly pork which I frequently cook st home. But the menu changes every 2 weeks.

Stopped at this pub for a light lunch during a weekend away. The pub was very popular for a Friday lunch time but there was a good amount of parking. The inside of the pub was very stylish but as the weather was warm, we opted to sit outside under a covered area. My husband and I order two of their sandwiches which tasted incredible. I opted for the salted beef and my Husband had the haddock one. The both tasted delicious, fresh and the fries we extremely tasty as they had garlic salt on them. I would definitely recommend stopping here for a light bite, I can't comment on the main courses available but if the sandwiches are anything to go by, they should be very good.
Lovely food - poor staff

Had a light lunch at the Cadogan Arms. Very good food but surly staff. When I asked to pay in cash, I was told no and given a lecture about how much it costs to accept cash. As long as this pub refuses cash (legal tender!), I will not be returning.
Dinner with friends

What a disappointment. Had dinner with friends who had raved about this place- so couldn't complain at the time, would have done otherwise. Cods cheeks,heavy batter/breadcrumbs and deep fried to death-aweful. Pork main course,meat grossly overcooked,ham hock dumpling,again deep fried to death.
On the plus side...a nice chicken terrine,excellent cheese,nice staff and inexpensive. But they must try harder!
