Passamos uma noite neste hotel para ir ao Show dos Rolling Stones no AT&T Stadium. O quarto é limpo, boa manutenção, boa cama mas um pouco escuro. Sentimos falta de cofre para deixar nossos pertences. É um hotel padrão que atende bem a estada. Bem proximo ao Aeroporto, o que foi muito conveniente pois pegamos um voo na madrugada do dia seguinte. O hotel disponibilizava vans para o aeroporto e comercio da região. Não utilizamos o serviço pois alugamos um carro.
A very nice surprise in South Dallas
Just before the Covid 19 shutdown, I attended a course in Dallas. The course was presented at the Hilton Garden Inn DFW Airport South. I had not been in any of the Hilton properties in some time and looked forward to being reacquainted with them. The hotel is a short drive from the airport and they provided a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The shuttle is on a regular route back and forth from the hotel to airport and back, and the Dallas airport is huge with many terminals so I had to wait a bit, but the weather was pleasant and I had the time. The driver was really nice and courteous which made the wait also worthwhile. Check in was easy. The front desk is empty but there is a camera watching the desk and when you stand in front of the desk, within a short time, someone appears to help you. The rooms were really nice. Clean, comfortable, quiet, with all the amenities I desire and require from a hotel. The desk was spacious and allowed me to get work done with an adequate, free, access to the internet as well. Catering at the hotel was pleasant and the food plentiful and tasty. The room included a free buffet breakfast but the course I attended included breakfast as well so I was not able to sample their efforts. The front desk team were young and friendly. There was an ample list of restaurants in the area and they made 3 or 4 suggestions that turned out to be great. All in all, I really liked the place and would happily return if I had a reason to be there again. And a bonus? They now tie Hilton Honours points to Lyft...every time I use Lyft, I get extra credits for Hilton Honours program. Nice!
The staff went above and beyond to serve our conference attendees. We had both a dinner and lunches on site and everything was excellent. Comfortable sleep accommodations and clean, well laid out space.
After traveling all day from Italy to USA, they picked us up at the airport and made sure we were comfortable in our rooms. They had fresh coffee available the following morning and had a shuttle ready to take us back to the airport the following morning.
A bit behind the times when it comes to environmental sustainability but overall a good stay and good value. No recycling. Lots of single use plastics, no indications that sustainability is even on their radar. But it was clean and comfortable and well priced. Great breakfast.
