I am 57, and I have traveled often. I have NEVER stayed in a hotel worse than this. There was a fridge, and microwave but I could not plug in the microwave the plug to far away. No coffee pot, Room was over 90 degrees when I came in. The faucet I could turn on but I could not adjust the temperature as it was just warbling. No ice maker in the entire Hotel. Toilet paper was on the back of the toilet because it would not fit on the toilet paper roll. The safety latch on the door was broken. The back door to the building would not even close let alone lock. No shampoo or conditioner. On the second day I came into the lobby and got in the elevator and there was ice spilled all over the elevator ( because ther was no ice in the building). There was a wet floor sign. I went to check the ice maker on the third floor and it was still not working so a came back down to find the ice is still there and the employee was behind the desk on his phone. I told him he needed to clean that up not just put a sign over it. His reply was “well I’m not going to clean it up because you tell me to”. So I told him, I will call corporate. So I called choice hotel and was on hold long enough to get ice and return. I was talking to choice hotels when I walked through the lobby and he heard me complain to them. I did not talk to or confront the employee. He called the cops and had me removed. The cops said this is the worst hotel in the city. The police also said the hotel rents to locals. My wife asked what that meant and the police said that it brings drugs and prostitution in. This grossed me out. Makes me not want to stay in any Economy lodge.

Smelled dirty, looked dirty. Public areas were run down and poorly maintained. Although advertisement says free breakfast, and other hotels are serving breakfast, this hotel does NOT and makes no apologies. Blames it on COVID. I understand, if that’s your policy, but take it off of your ad!! Don’t recommend. If you have a choice- pick another place.

I usually avoid Economic Lodge, but Priceline chose this motel for us. It actually wasn’t bad! There was a heavy smoke smell in the hallway, but no smoke in our room. The room was clean and well maintained. Yea, it’s old and there was some wear and tear, but we stayed two nights and were pretty comfortable! Don’t stay here if you’re not a little flexible, but it was fine for us!

The first room they put us in, 2 of the lights didn't work, no hot water, the the toilet was stopped up. The second room they put us in no stopper in the bathtub, no remote, the floor looked like crap, and the phone didn't work. The bed wasn't comfortable, the light at the sink didn't work either.

I can't believe that choice hotels would keep them in their cluster. I felt worthless drop son off to college, so gave to budget. My car was much better. Staff was great. With exception 2 Pan he was a rude dude. Completely unsympathetic. I may not have luxury accommodation money; however I know pine sol is a buck at the dollar store. DO NOT STAY HERE YOUR BETTER THAN THIS. CHEAP SHOULD NOT MEAN DOWNRIGHT DIRTY.
