We travel by car from Cape Town to Botswana every 2nd year on holiday and De Werf is always our first night stop-over. I just have to mention how good they are - from the friendly staff, well-appointed and spotlessly clean rooms, to excellent meals in their restaurant. Also, very pleasant to sit outside by the Koi pond having an ice cold drink after a long day's drive. Keep up the good service guys :).

Very nice place with beautiful gardens. The chalet I stayed in was very neat and clean. It was only the last two nights that the Dstv did not work. Thanks for everything. Will come back again in the future.

Friendly staff, perfect location, quality accommodation and the beef hamburger is 100% pure beef greatness. The self catering flatlet is clean and comfortable, everything you need under one roof. I will use this facility again, your home away from home.

We stayed at De Werf, for a wedding that was held at De Werf. On dinner Friday evening was absolutely fabulous, even with the challenges they had with load shedding. The manager Susan jumped in and started preparing the food and I must say it was the best chicken burger, hake and chips we have. The staff are very friendly and very helpful, they attend immediately to any request you may have.

We had a pleasant time at De Werf. The setting is lovely, the animals on the property are lovely to look at. The restaurant has good food. The accommodation is quite nice, although the bathroom needs work. The shower leaks at the wall, with water flowing down the tiles, with very little water coming out of the antiquated shower head. Glasses are also almost all cracked. Other than this, I'd visit again.
