O hotel fica a poucos metros da estaçao de trem/metro. O trem bala "Kodama" de Tokio para Nagoya praticamente te conecata aos principais pontos. O Hotel é aconchegante, os restaurantes, bares etc sao agradáveis nao são caros, o café da manha é muito bom, tendo também as opçoes ocidentais além do tradicional japones. Quartos confortáveis, lojas de conveniencia no hotel é a poucos métros tambem. Tem estrutura para casamentos, eventos muito boa e o preço é aceitável.

Very nice and close to downtown

I spent five nights in the Kakegawa Grand Hotel in September 2019. The hotel is not too expensive but very close to the downtown and the train station. I saw the hotel as we pulled into the train station and I walked to dinner each night to a different restaurant. The Kakegawa Castle was a short walk to the end of the street. The hotel was clean and the staff spoke English with varying degrees of proficiency. Breakfast was good with plenty of western foods in addition to the Japanese items. Eggs cooked to order and a pot of brewed coffee were nice features. A very pleasant stay and I hope to return someday.

Very dated but solid

The hotel rooms are very dated but clean and really cheap (approx 70€ per night). Breakfast has an ok selection. You do get a welcome drink upon check in. Also breakfast is included in the room rate. Not really much more to say there.

Very old style Japanese Hotel. Very convenient to train station. Quaint. Rooms small but cozy and clean. Had a drink at the bar. Breakfast in the am. Not top of the line but would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Good clean hotel next to the station. I was here for 3 weeks on business. The hotels getting on now but staff were good and food ok. I got the train to Hamamatsu a lot as loads of places to eat there. Lovely part of Japan that's well worth going to
