The people here they will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Joseph Powell is the number one person that I would definitely look for his service is impeccable. The beds are absolutely the best we did not wake up once during the night the beds are so soft and so comfortable!!!

No Delta meal voucher here for breakfast

Nice room. Stayed here after diversion into Kansas City on Delta. Delta gave us two $15 meal vouchers which this hotel would not take for breakfast because, it claimed, we used points with Hilton to book the room. This makes no sense. The vouchers are simply a QR code to a credit card, they just need to scan it and take the payment which was more than what the breakfast cost at $12 per person. They initially said that Delta vouchers don’t work for them at all. Be aware, if you stay here, you likely will not be able to use any Delta vouchers. This disappoints me.

Not Your Typical High-Quality HGI Breakfast

This stay was a five until we went to breakfast, which was so bad it pulled this down to a three. The potatoes were cold and grey, the bacon was stuck together, we had to ask for flatware and napkins, then ketchup to make the potatoes edible, and finally, no sugar-free syrup after I made a waffle as my Plan B. Our server apparently went on break right after we were seated, then the other lady was more into her phone and watching TV than checking on guests. Not sure if it's because of the Old Chicago franchise branding of the 'restaurant,' but this is NOT the typical HGI breakfast experience. We specifically stay at HGI because of the high-quality breakfast; not at this property. We would have been better off staying at the Hilton 300 yards up the road and grabbing a McDonald's Egg McMuffin.

Excellent Accommodation, let down by average breakfast

We booked a king room for a one night stay. The two Diamond Member parking spaces near the the back door was handy and close for unloading and loading luggage Zack checked us in and was super friendly and helpful. A five star Reception for us. However, we asked for a room change as the toilet seat was not cleaned properly in the first room, in this time of CVOID, a concern. The room was modern and had good lighting, especially the bathroom. The room was spacious and had that extra feet of width over the older HGII's. We had a good night sleep, despite a litle bit of highway traffic noise and early muffled plane noise early in the morning. The breakfast buffet was a bit of let down, no fresh fruit other than a couple of bananas well past ripe, tiny tubs of yoghurt, no freshly cooked eggs typical of other HGI.

Worthless and incompetent!

Truck was stolen from their parking lot, during daylight and they refused to even try to help! Couldn’t give any actual answers to help find if it had been towed or stolen. Couldn’t/wouldn’t pull video footage for myself or the cops to be able to see to make a valid stolen vehicle report. Said they are no way responsible or liable, then after all their wonderful help and professionalism with that headache wouldn’t even give a discount. So now stuck here with no vehicle, no room because reservation is up and had to check out trying to figure out how to get home!
