O hotel está localizado em uma linda área de Kansas. Os quartos com vista são excelentes. Quartos amplos e limpos. Tenho uma ressalva quanto ao serviço no bar. O atendente é educado e ótimo, porém o horário do bar ao meu ponto de vista é restrito, funcionando até as 23:00 para lanches e 0:00 para bebidas. Em relação a recepção do Hotel coloco a insatisfação quanto a ineficiência, a má vontade e o mau humor da funcionária Samanta. Desde o chekin até o checkout. Funcionária que não sabe nada, não resolve nada e ainda de cara feia. Quanto ao gerente, muito atencioso e à disposição pra resolver o que a mesma não faz.

O Inter da região do Country Club Plaza é um hotel antigo, mas muito bem localizado. Os colaboradores são gentis (como todas as pessoas em KC) e os quartos muito confortáveis. Como passamos um período mais longo, achei que a limpeza poderia ser mais eficiente. De modo geral o hotel é realmente muito bom!

Stayed there for a staycation on March 4th with my partner as we were down at the plaza for a fundraiser all day around the area, we’ve stayed in this hotel before and have had great experience but this one ruined it for us and will not plan to stay there again. We ce back from a long day and as we were going to get into bed, there was 2 large stool stains on the sheets, we called the front desk and they switched us rooms but when we tried to address it with, the front desk, IHG, and then the hotel manager (Jeff Keeley) it felt as though our concerns fell of deaf ears, no offer to make it up in any way or offer a refund or discount of any kind. We recommend staying away from this place, as it was not what I would’ve expected in a luxury class hotel.

Why is the Intercontinental such a fickle brand? I bet this place was really something 20-30 years ago. I've attached a sample of pictures from my room on the concierge level. Come for the gas station toilet, stay for the hair and general decay. Not your place if you want, say, the same experience you get at the Intercontinental on Wilshire and Figueroa in LA. All that said, I must compliment the staff. While they present as unorthodox, with no apparent uniform clothing or grooming standards, every single one I encountered was top notch in terms of service. It had the feel of very local recruiting, which works in that place. The restaurant is modest at best, but is also a pleasant surprise, at least for dinner. The bison flank steak entree was quite good. This hotel is in an otherwise upscale district. It just doesn't fit. I hope it's a candidate for a sale and/or complete remodel.

Great experience from the time I pulled up until I left. Valet Alex was friendly and quick. Bellman Noel was friendly and a great help getting my luggage to my room and offering to get ice for me. Robyn the concierge was helpful in suggestions of places to go and offered my dog a treat. Nate in the lounge was fantastic. Since dogs are not allowed in that area he served me in a very nice sitting area off the lounge. Came back several times to check on me and see if I needed anything. The guest room was very nice. I had a suite so there was a separate bedroom. It was clean and comfortable. It also had a beautiful view of the Plaza. This is a great hotel to stay at and close to everything.
