Short business trip with a comfortable stay
Avaliou em 7 de Fevereiro de 2021
My husband and I stayed at this hotel while I was on a business trip this weekend.
Due to Covid, there is no housekeeping during your stay, but if you need fresh towels just stop at front desk and they will give them to you.
Starbucks and 210 Grill & Bar are open for food and drink options. There is free WiFi in the lobby. If you need WiFi in the room, you must be a Marriott Bonvoy member or you can purchase it.
We stayed in room 1018. The room was very clean. The king sized bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Across the street from the hotel are the following restaurants: Applebee’s, McDonald’s, & Shack Breakfast.
Thank you for making my stay a comfortable.
Okay but limited everything with Covid

If Starbucks is closed you cannot get food, the bar is open but the person manning the bar is never there, they must be saddled with everything but feeding the guests. Luckily Applebee's is across the street and you can get a hot meal that is delicious which I did not expect from a chain.
The room was clean but the bathroom was heavily worn, this was on the concierge level which was not open and I felt I was unfairly charged for something they had no intention of having.
I was told zero housekeeping was available and to call for whatever is needed, during a conference call someone tried to open the door, then I realized I did not have a do not disturb sign, when I called the front desk to request one they stated no one is making rounds you really don't need one, that is fine, except someone tried to open the door, had I not had the inside lock on they would have been in the room, perhaps you need a security check!
Unmasked People Everywhere!!!

If you are concerned about COVID, don't stay here! We were at the hotel this past Thursday-Monday. There was a placard at check-in stating that masks were mandatory but the hotel was full of families there for a softball tournament and many of them were not wearing masks, as mandated by Kansas law! Multiple times we got off an elevator or didn't get on an elevator because of unmasked guests and just inside the lobby to the left, people were regularly gathered and not wearing masks. They also walked down the halls by reception unmasked. When we complained to the manager, he said there was nothing he could do and that he had asked management for signs on the elevators about wearing masks and they had not complied. We've been staying at Marriott for years but next time, there's a lovely Sheraton just up the street where we will stay!
Showing age, heavy impact by COVID

Just finished two night stay at the hotel today.
To be honest, very disappointed with the experience.
1. Hotel is showing ages, long overdue for modern renovation. Just check the parking entrance equipment. And the room ceiling near door or bath room..
2. Due to COVID, many amenity closed including the concierge, restaurants.
3. Front desk refused to offer upgrade despite me being an elite member.
4. The market downstairs has super tiny selection, forcing me to drive around town to grab food for night work.
5. This would be my last stay at this Marriott until signifant improvement made.
A few bright spot:
Despite limited hours of the starbuck’s, the offered free breakfast at star buck’s and the friendly staff stopped me from giving 1 star to this hotel.
It’s a Marriott...

It’s a Marriott. If you want a professional welcoming staff, clean and comfortable rooms, an on-site restaurant and bar, and an on-site Starbucks, this place is for you. If all you want is a cheap room, keep moving.
