I would give this hotel a top 11 for the kitchen and breakfast, it was spic and span and not even a crumb to be seen on the counters. The rooms were top notch for clean crisp bedding and pillows. It was a real treat staying in a clean atmosphere. The breakfast had many choices of hot food. The warm cinnamon rolls were a hit.

Walked into the room and first thing was trash on the floor. Second thing sheets were dirty nasty we then went to the pool it was the dirtiest pool we have ever seen didn’t look like it has been cleaned in a while and the water left a silky feeling on your skin. Would not recommend at all.

The Holiday Inn Express in Kearney was the first hotel of our 14 day road trip. Perfect start. The hotel sets back from the freeway, so it is in a quieter area. We were welcomed at the front desk. The room had room darkening shades and an air contidioner with a continuous fan option. For the perfect rest, the room was dark, cool, with ambient noise. We slept well. The room had everything we needed and was very clean. There were a variety of food options for breakfast, and we enjoyed our choices. Note: Giambalvo is just across the road. Highly recommended.

I’m not a huge Holiday Inn Express loyalist, but this newer property was really nice with a somewhat scenic location, yet very close to several dining options and stores. Super-friendly team members, spacious room and a terrific breakfast.

Not as expected

Stayed 2 nights for a family reunion. Noisy even though we were on 4th floor. Second day, came back in evening to find room door wide open. Housekeeping had been there so assume they left door left open. Front desk seemed not to care whatsoever. Next day on check out, manager did apologize for issue. Now, upon checking my credit card website, the charge for 2 nights is higher than the receipt I was smart enough to ask for--I WILL be calling corporate and disputing with credit card company. Not ok!
