Super recomendo.

Nice concept but does not meet expectations

Stayed here for one night with my boyfriend in July at the end of our holiday and we both felt extremely underwhelmed by the experience. We arrived at the hotel at 9.30pm after having driven from the north of the island and asked reception if it would be okay to have a quick dinner still at their restaurant. We were told that last orders are taken at 10.30pm which would have given us plenty of time to drop off our stuff in our room and freshen up, but the hotel staff were insistent that we had to be seated in the restaurant by 10pm as it ‘worked better for them.’ Bit weird as we wouldn’t have needed half an hour to look at a tiny menu, but we did as we were told. Unfortunately we then found out that we may as well not have bothered with dinner at all. Everything on the menu sounded great, but sadly the food that arrived was appalling - I would even go as far to say it was inedible. Neither my boyfriend or I are fussy eaters by any means, but I would genuinely say that this was potentially one of the worst meals I have ever had given the location and price point. We ordered the black garlic tzatziki to start and the salmon and beef pasta dishes for mains. Everything was extremely bland, lukewarm and the beef was a mix of raw tartare and overcooked slices, which we think was done on purpose but the execution was T E R R I B L E. I think it may have been the first time that we have ever left more food on our plates than what we ate. On a positive note, the cocktails were delicious.

Very chilled solo trip

This was my first solo venture and I enjoyed every minute. I picked Fzeen as it has daily exercise and yoga classes that you can pick and choose from. The yoga and gym instructors were excellent. Also one of the most equipped gyms I’ve seen in a hotel. The gyms, yoga and meditation decks had wonderful sea views. I didn’t use them but there was also tennis courts and a golf driving range. SUP boards, kayaks and bicycles I was a bit worried about being on my own but the staff were wonderful and at no point was i stuck out of the way on a rubbish table. The place is drowning in pleasant attentive staff. There are plenty of sun-loungers and never a problem getting one. Bizarrely my favourite aspect was the availability of cold water all over the place. Bottles in the room and gum fridge replenished frequently. Both by the pool and on the beach people appeared with cold water and ice which was topped up frequently. You’ll never dehydrate here! I had a massage which was superb. If you don’t want to eat in the hotel there are a few restaurants and bars near by - I tried a few and never had a bad meal. I even found a small bar which has over 100 different beers! Although I have to say the barman at Fzeen made some excellent cocktails! You can watch a film in the outdoor cinema in the evening The hotel is on a very steep hill but it’s manageable. The whole area is beautiful, with wonderful views and very quiet. If your after a relaxing holiday- this is the place. I’ll definitely be returning!!

A brilliant way to fortify yourself before the winter……!

I have just returned from a week that was that very rare thing…..a break that was better than I expected. It helped that the weather was perfect - unusual for mid October apparently - but I LOVED F Zeen and hope to go back. I went alone in need of a rest - and also keen to do yoga - and it turned out to be perfect for both. I could dip in and out of classes, early morning hikes, swimming in the sea and taking a SUP out - all as I liked, with late minute booking for classes no problem, and I could retreat to my spacious room with an outdoor terrace whenever I felt like it too. Eating alone is sometimes not enjoyable, but here I felt quite comfortable in the only restaurant open in the evenings, and the restaurant staff are excellent - striking a great balance between being friendly and attentive but also giving you space. My one quibble would be the slightly limited and expensive menu - for food and drinks - but since it was close to the end of the season, which I assume is why the more casual second restaurant was shut at night, and the food quality was very good - I forgave it. Also, had I really wanted to avoid the restaurant I could have stocked my own fridge with food from the local shop and there was a kettle and coffee machine in the room too. I wanted to try aerial yoga and that was a treat! It’s quite rare to offer that and both yoga teachers were very good and the yoga venues - especially one - so scenic and beautiful. I liked the sporty, casual atmosphere - it’s okay to turn up for the (excellent) included breakfast in your exercise gear. And there was an interesting mix of seriously sporty people and those with a more relaxed approach. I do wonder if the feeling of utter peace changes in high season if you had to jostle for somewhere to sit or to get into a class, but I’m sure things run rather differently with more spaces open and more staff when it’s busy. For me this week was all that I hoped, and more…..thank you FZeen !
