If it wasn’t for the bugs, this hotel would be excellent

We had one reservation for 2 days using points in a 2 bed room and consecutively paid for a second reservation of 3 days in a 1 bed room. Both rooms were spacious. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and breakfast was consistently well stocked. The pool was very clean and empty. The only issue was that we saw bugs in both rooms and the hallway. The first room had a large bug in the bathroom and it went behind the mirror. When it surfaced again, my daughter screamed. We told the manager who was extremely apologetic. An employee who overheard us talking asked if it was a spider or “potato” bug. I said I thought it was a potato bug as it was large and round. They commented that the heat (close to 90F) was the likely cause. In the second room (a few doors down from the first) the bug was above the bed. This was unnerving and we all had trouble sleeping. Again, other than bugs in both rooms, the hotel was great. One additional note, the parking lot entrance is shared with the only In N Out Burger in Oregon. The drive through is always crowded and occasionally very loud cars can be heard from the 4th floor. The area is fantastic with lots of food options and a Target (with curbside) less than a 2000 ft from the hotel.

Nice place within striking distance of Salem, Portland and Eugene.

Clean and new property so every worked and nothing was worn or broken. Rooms are clean and beds very comfy (most important). The AC can be a bit noisy though until it has reached temperature. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. Facilities are good with a well stocked gym and a small indoor pool. Breakfast is the usual fare but adequate enough. One small consideration is that next door there is a In-N-Out burger joint. This seems to be all the rage right now and there are queuing cars blocking the entry to the hotel car park day and night. So it can be a pain to get in-n-out the hotel!

I recently spent a week at this property, while visiting family in the area. The entire hotel was spotless and the staff is superb. Grace and Kao took care of my every request with ease. The beds, pillows and linens are fabulous. The sheets feel like silk and the towels are soft and fluffy (especially for a hotel). The location (at Keizer Station) is ideal and there are multiple options for dining and shopping. I have stayed at this location since the week they first opened several years ago and I am thrilled to say that they have shown a real consistency for excellence. I would not hesitate to recommend them and look forward to my next visit.

Attentive staff, even though at desk desk alone. We’d just come back from 3 days of hiking and exploring the greater Salem area and were tired and just wanted to rest. The young woman at the desk, Grace, was kind, and even though she was lone she came up to the room when the heat unexpectedly quit working. I question the safety of a staffer being alone at the front desk of a hotel on a Fri eve, tho. Bed was comfortable, room was great, blackout curtains were FAB, once we were shown how to use them. 😜

If you get a room away from I-5, you will have a great nights rest. Hotel is relatively new and well appointed. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. In n Out is right next door on one side and Panerra on the other. Good breakfast. Good value for the money.
