Excellent choice enroute home. Owner met us in the restaurant by accident and asked if we were ok with the wifi. had a great Thai dinner in their restaurant before bed after a long drive from Hua Hin. Service here was BETTER than the 5* resort we stayed in Hua Hin and only a few hundred baht a night. Rooms excellently clean and well presented. Keep this up and we wil be back again during our long drives up north!

A little gem just off the new main road. Great parking, great rooms and VERY CLEAN!! Staff are wonderful and helpful. As a local upcountry hotel, car parking is right infront of your door (saves space!) but the owners have provided everything for this budget hotel. Restaurant food great also. Nice layout and some common area. Well recommnded for those looking for a motel enroute in the South. Well done!

Short trip to railway junction

Smile resort is a nice stay .A little out of town , needs a 30 > 40 min.to walk to this place .I booked the standard room ; which are more a motel , then hotel quality s .Means , the windows with garden view is more a small corner window .I decided , for an upgrade to deluxe room , and there i choose one on 2nd level , with view to green field , Lower one = wall sight . Front rooms going to parking space . The room was great , a lot space for seat and do daily needs , a board well good .Bigger fright , and small balcona too .A plug in in the middle of the bed ,for all mobile nerds . Small sort of yrinking in front desk , 7/11 just good 5 min.away .But bcz of in connection to street NO alcohol there . Very nice is the Amazon Cafe,same by 7/11 ,,with there 6 or 7 " private" rooms . Nice stroll to the sidestreet..left side from Resort . Didn t find a transport yet .

AWESOME stay in Thung Song

We moved here after disastrous previous accomodation. Management even collected us to bring us to this venue at the time decided upon. What struck me immediately was the friendliness and cleanliness. Everybody was full of smiles. Check-in was quick and we were in our rooms within 5 minutes. The rooms were fairly sized with a great work-space for my laptop. Wifi was quick and constant. The only downside was the electricity which on some days went off twice throughout the area. The place was quiet & peaceful. The area was well-kept and green with a seating area in the garden area. The restaurant or canteen as the Manager referred to the area took me by surprise. The second only restaurant in Thung Song that had an English menu. We ordered and was attended to throughout. The TOM-YUM waa a winner and I enjoyed three days straight. I joked and said I wanted to marry the chef. The seafood fried-rice, brocolli and thai green curry I could not fault at all. Prices were very reasonable and portions generous. The ingredients were fresh and the fish in the TOM-YUM I would swear was just caught. Even if you not staying over stop here for the food, it will be well worth the stop.

New rooms, easy parking

Stayed for a night and were happy with our VIP room. All new and clean and functioning. A bit like a motel, so car parking is easy. Some rooms even have own discreet parking spots next to the entrance that look a bit like these infamous Thai hanky-panky lunch time hotels in Bangkok. Not saying that they are used this way here. Located slightly outside of Thungsong, but still in easy reach of everything. Room service can be ordered but we didn't try. The restaurant looked ok, although quite empty.
