We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were both traditional Japanese and the staff were helpful in explaining the menu for both meals. We tried everything and loved it all. We location is very quiet and just what we were looking for after the business of Tokyo. One thing to mention would be that our sat nav bought us to the correct place but we were confused as outside the name is Wald Hotel and it is only on entering the building that there is a sign saying "welcome to the Morino". Obviously a name change has occurred but when writing (Oct 2019) there was no outside signage. Just a heads up for anyone driving to the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely time staying at this hotel. It's a little bit out of the way but the hotel will pick you up if you give them advance notice of your arrival. The Tourist Centre at the train station can give you a hand if required. We arrived after they had already served dinner but the lovely couple that run the place laid out a wonderful meal for us. Sukiyaki served the traditional Japanese-style is a real treat and totally different from what I expected. We wanted to see the next town which was an important stop in the Nakasendo trail. Our present train tickets meant that was impossible. Our hosts spoke to the Station Master at Kiso and got us new tickets. Excellent service! Will stay here again. Highly recommended.

木曽街道から少し木曽駒高原方面へ。静かでゆったり過ごせました。ロビーや部屋にあるテーブルや椅子はとても凝ったものでした。座り心地が良くて、うちにも欲しくなります。食事はとくにこったものではありませんが、丁寧に造られておりおいしくいただきました。ナマズの昆布じめは初めて食べました。あっさりと美味しかったです。権兵衛トンネルが通れないのは不便ですが、早く復興できるよう願うばかりです。また行きたいホテルです。

特に目的もなく、なんとなく木曽エリアに行きたいなぁ～の旅で宿泊しました。 良かった点 １、ツインルームでとても広く、落ち着いた綺麗さでゆったりできる。 ２、枕が自分ごのみ！（柔らかすぎず、硬すぎず、薄すぎず！） ３、トイレとシャワールームがセパレート ４、自然が近い景色。 ５、トイレが綺麗に維持されていました。 ６、客室で無料Wifiが利用可能。 ７、朝食が美味しかった。 ８、スタッフも親切で丁寧な感じ。 ９、大浴場も湯量が多く安定しているので快適。 残念だった点 １、大容量ネットゲームでもやっている客がいるのか、Wifiが不通になる場合が割と多かった。 一般的な点 １、ビジネス机、液晶ＴＶ、お洒落ソファ・テーブルがある。 ２、冷蔵庫、ヘアードライヤーがある。 ３、レストラン、お土産ブース、バー＆カフェがある。

今回は10畳の和室泊まった。ホテルはいい雰囲気ですし、景色もいいです。特にはグランピング。BBQもできるし、流れ星も見えるよ
