Feels more like a four star than the 2 stars it's advertised

We stayed here during the first half of February when most hotels in Crete where closed. The service and cleanliness of this 2 star hotel felt more like four star, the room was spacious and comfortable and very price worthy. The staff are very helpful with information about the town, restaurants and things to do. It was a real pleasure staying here, exceptional actually.

I really enjoyed my stay in this friendly and comfortable hotel. The location is perfect, just opposite the very interesting Archeological Museum and a short walk from the beach and some nice restaurants.. Niki was extremely helpful with lots of info. There is a nice balcony overlooking the square. I liked the pears and grapes left in the room- a nice touch.

The hotel is run by 2 ladies. They are very professional, extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough to help me with anything I wanted. My room was large with a sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and a nice sized bedroom with a balcony. The room was very clean and well presented. The hotel is in the square in the middle of Kissamoss. I can not speak more highly of this hotel.

Castell hotel in Kissamo, Crete. The hotel is owned by two Sisters Niki and Katerina. Stayed at this location in July 2018 for 3 weeks my mom and I. I do apologize ladies for not writing a review sooner. You made our stay a memorable experience. We have family in Crete but decided to stay at Castell hotel, close to everything and everyone located in skalidi squared, kissamo city. Hotel has modern rooms, cleanliness and the service is # 1. The hotel is located walking distance from bistros, shops, hair salons, supermarkets, bakery, car rental, tours & travel agency (book boat tours for the day), museum, church Agios Spiridon. Walking to the beach 5 minutes away enjoy the strip of restaurants and souvenir shops. Everyone is so friendly. Anything you need help with from weather, the best beaches, directions, events scheduled during the week in the square or near by Niki and Katerina will provide all that information and more. The girls are remarkable. Looking forward to visiting soon with my husband. Due to the Covid–19 pedemic, not sure if we will be able to visit in August 2020.
