Great base for a beach holiday!

Does what it says on the tin, the Hotel Hermes is a great base for anyone looking for a beach holiday that isn’t going to break the bank! Closely located to tavernas, shops and the local beach you have everything you need on your doorstep! Pros - *Great Pool *Good Breakfast - buffet with continental and hot options *Stephania was fantastic - recommended an incredible winery tour and informed us of the bus service and how to get there! (Thanks again Stephania!!) Cons- *Very small bathroom and tiny bath with shower over it - difficult to shower it was so small *Rooms/decor/windows/balcony could do with a freshening up *We had a room at the front and noise from the street was very loud, it felt like the windows were open at times - loud traffic/motorbikes from very early disturbed sleep on several occasions *Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days, would be nice to have fresh sheets, towels and bins replaced more often Overall, Hermes is a good place for those who need a base to sleep and shower when exploring the local area/having a beach holiday and the nice breakfast is a bonus!

My friends and I loved our stay, the breakfast was up to standard, as were the room and the pool area. It’s was a very enjoyable stay thanks to the friendly stuff, especially Kiki who works at reception, who went over and beyond to make sure our stay was an unforgettable one. Highly recommend.

Nice room, clean and tidy. 2 pools very clean and big. The breakfast was delicious. The staff and the girl in the reception were extremely welcomed, friendly and helpful! We recommend for short or long stays.

Hotel Hermes *** , situated in the city of Kissamos, the western part of the island. Very lovely hotel with extramally attentive staff (Stefania) who made our stay a haven on earth and cared for every wish we had. The food was excellent! Wide variety of local foods that will make one ignore his/her diet :-). The hotel is cosy and very clean. We had a room with a balcony and a view on a pool, very very nice. The area is surrounded by taverns with exqusite seafood and supermarkets nearby. Definitely a place worth visiting!

The room was amazing and it had a balcony with wonderful view.It was big and clean.The hotel was amzing they where very careful with the breakfast because of the coronavirus.We didn't go into the pool because the whole situation but they were cleaning it every day.
