Friendliest place we have stayed

What a lovely place to stay. It's not in the center, about 30 minute walk from Chaweng Beach Road where all the bars and clubs are, but it's very quiet and right on the ocean. We had a sea view bungalow which was small but very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. There is a small pool, perfectly adequate for the size of the resort, a whirlpool and a children's pool. The restaurant serves lively food at good prices. Everything was great but the best thing was the owners and staff. The lady serving at the bar/restaurant was so nice and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The owners are lovely people and on site all day, making sure that everybody has everything they need, nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend this place for a stay in a very quiet area close to the town. Keep up the good work!

Despite it not being high season, just getting over COVID, was an absolutely awesome location to stay. Run by the owners, and they are very knowledgable and extremely helpful in everything you need. I cannot say anything bad about this place and will be staying here again, as I will be coming back.

Great hosts, lovely bungalow on the beach with air con, nice comfortable queen bed. Good pool. very good restaurant on site with english and thai dishes. And then the VIEW the best I've ever seen. Pictures can't do it justice but I will try.

The 3 star Resort with a 5 star Heart Having just revisited Papillon after a 3 year gap it was so nice to be welcomed back like old friends The staff at Papillon are just the best and cannot do enough for you and always with a smile Rooms : The rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels and linen with tea and coffee provided. Although the restaurant times and menu were reduced the food was delicious and very reasonably priced and served with a smile, the general areas are still looking lovely and kept clean and colourful. Thank you all at Papillon for making our stay so special after a difficult time for you, wishing you all the luck for a busier time ahead.

We have an amazing stay at the Papillon Resort. The Resort is beautiful, right on the beach in an amazing location, it is exceptionally clean and the staff cannot do enough for you.The Bungalows are replenished daily with toiletries and fresh towels, and bottled water . All the staff are friendly and helpful and make your stay that bit extra special.The Kitchen is outstanding with great Thai- and Western Food.The Papillon Resort is in a quite road away from the main Chaweng beach which for us is much more relaxing, with lovely beach bars and restaurants a stroll along the beach, and if you want the bustle of bright lights Chaweng Town is a 10 minute walk or quick taxi ride away. Local supermarket, pharmacy and shops are a couple of minutes walk from the hotel Would definitely recommend Papillon Resort 100% to anyone coming to Koh Samui
