Sem dúvida um dos melhores hotéis em que ficamos na Tailândia , excelente atendimento , decoração nem se fala , de tirar o fôlego , pequeno almoço óptimo , vista e localização soberba !! Teem um atalho para a praia e tudo , disponibilizam todos os serviços indispensáveis e até Mota se pode lá alugar , melhor meio de transporte para andar na ilha ;-) quarto muito rústico todo o hotel num estilo tailandês ! Piscina a melhor de todas ! Com uma vista linda , mal chegamos vimos logo que íamos gostar mas nunca pensando que íamos gostar tanto ! A repetir sem dúvida ! Se pensa ficar em koh samui e espera que seja perfeito é o local a escolher ..

Stayed at varinda for 1 week , certainly not value for money , the place was dirty dark & mouldy , upon closing the so called curtains the dust was unbelievable ,had to use a towel because the curtains never covered the window , the sink was filthy, the toilet had never seen bleach , you could see through the walls they were like pallets, , the shower was max 4ft high , the bed was rock hard , that's because it was basically a sheet of 8x4 plywood , had to wipe our feet on the way out .

Booked this hotel going off great reviews,baffled by them now we have stayed at the varinda,people must of stayed in a different room to us,our room was nothing like advertised on Booking.com the room was dark dirty and shabby,gaps all over the walls so you could see outside,and smell the guys weed who was smoking underneath,bed and pillows were hard "although we did get new ones on request" I'm used to roughing it as I camp at numerous festivals,but this was on a different level,we have stayed in 7 hotels over the last month,all lived up to there reviews,except this one,if they put the effort into cleaning it like they do the artwork all over the place it would be better,only positive was the sea view.

What an excellent place to stay. Beautiful bungalows with sea views. Artwork everywhere you look and it is mind blowing. So easy to relax here. Olive (oil) is an amazing manager. Nothing is a problem. I highly recommend this place. Looking forward to next trip to Samui.

We stayed at the Varinda resort for 4 nights at the end of our 3 and a half weeks in Thailand and it was such a lovely place to end our trip! The resort is just so different to anywhere else we stayed with it’s vibrant colours and positive messages - even at then end of four days we were still finding things we hadn’t noticed earlier. The attention to detail that has gone into making this a special place sets the resort apart from anything else we stayed in. We stayed in a two bedroom family house and the views were stunning. It had a big balcony where we could eat or sit and chill. The house was incredibly spacious and the decor was so detailed and interesting - just like the rest of the resort. Our children loved the pool and the slide - we mostly had it to ourselves as the resort is still quiet at the moment. The staff could not have been more friendly throughout. They helped us plan our trips - we would definitely recommend the short trip to Crystal Bay as the beach is stunning and the water much calmer than Lamai beach. We were allowed to keep our room for longer too as we had a late flight. The food and drinks in the restaurant were delicious - we ate there a few times during our stay and were never disappointed. The resort is a bit of a walk to the centre and beach (5-10 mins) but we did not find this a problem, even with the children ( ours are 7 and 9). It meant we had the incredible view and the positivity of Varinda makes up for the fact it is not beach front. The route is easy enough to follow and not to steep. We would definitely recommend Varinda resort to families visiting this area.
