ÓTIMA OPÇÃO PARA VIAGEM DE NEGÓCIOS

O hotel The Gateway oferece boa opção para hospedagem em uma viagem à negócios. Funcionários MUITO RECEPTIVOS, sempre dispostos à ajudar e tornar sua estadia a melhor possível. A todo momento se antecipam para carregar suas bagagens, malas de mão, etc. Tratamento 5 estrelas na recepção, muito educados e gentis. O quarto, por acaso recebi um upgrade para a Suite Logan, na verdade foi até muito para mim. Ao entrar no quarto, já tinha um lavabo, uma grande sala de estar e ao lado a suite, com uma salinha, closet e BWC. Tudo aparentemente bem arrumado, apesar de que um colega reclamou que suas roupas de cama estavam sujas e aparentavam não ter sido trocadas. Não utilizei nem o serviço de quarto nem o restaurante. No térreo, temos à disposição uma bela piscina e uma academia de ginástica, com umas 3 ou 4 esteiras e alguns pesos. Também não me arrisquei a sair do hotel, pois aparentemente não há nada interessante em volta. Pelo que pouco pude perceber da cidade, este aparenta ser a melhor opção disponível.

Comfortable stay, with few compromises

Comfortable location which is just 10 minutes from railway station. Close to Kozhikode beach(6 minutes of walk). Decent facility, comfortable rooms (though compact). Staff are very good and helpful. Located in a rather calm place away from lot of vehicular traffic. Breakfast spread, presentation and quality were good. Hotel is clean. However would like to say this place seems to be wanting attention. Doors in bathroom show peeled paints, the elevator makes huge noise and it’s certificate expires in Jan 2023. Pillows are very soft and uncomfortable. Very poor sound proofing. You could hear what is spoken in the corridor. Switches are of poor quality and the extension box in my room reminded of cheap bus stand hotel. Corridors are cramped too. The wash basin has residual water that never drains Overall good place for overnight stay if you could make few compromises and lower your expectations.

Satisfactory Stay, Not as expected

1. Too many mosquitoes in the room causing inadequate sleep. 2. At Ayurveda Treatment Center, in one of the treatment, total time mentioned is 2 hours. All the detailed treatment is finished in 40 minutes, another 20-25 minutes wasted in so called steam, then one is made to lie down & forehead oil drip for another 30-40 minutes, & then we are advised to take bath. So including bath & getting ready, it was total of 1: 45 minutes. So, I don't understand the logic of saying Ayurveda treatment for 2 hours while its practically 40 minutes+ 30 minutes. Need to clarify on this while complete amount is taken 2 hours.

Comfortable Stay & Supportive stuffs

My recent stay at your hotel during the business trip was comfortable. I liked the support stuffs behavior in all sections of the hotel. Food is good. A large swimming pool with separate Kids pool. The hotel is at the walkable distance to the beach. Gym is slightly small though, however, its clean One suggestion - If you can start the breakfast at 6:30AM, like many other hotels in large cities, it will help the travelers to have it & go to work or airport. The ayurveda section should be kept open for little, longer time. It closes at 5PM

The property is located very close to the beach. The welcome was electrifying. Rooms and Food were good. The swimming pool was very well maintained. The food choice was good. There was a spa which was very refreshing.
