Estadia Perfeita!

Be warned!!!

Be warned I’ve stayed here for 20+ years it’s now run down with signs everywhere apologising for the state of the place but they been there since just after Covid! Only one restaurant still open with a limited menu. Breakfast very average with a toaster that’s been broken for months. This hotel use to be wonderful but now it’s more of a place where the locals can afford to stay its a small step up from a back packers. It’s a darn shame they have let it go to the pack! Shame on the owners and management! Also…… if you have any Balinese friends they won’t be allowed on the premises!!! This is a new rule enforced by the new management! Never was this the case. I checked in this time and promptly checked out to the nearby Legian beach hotel.

Disappointed changes within months

Very disappointed stay! Stayed in October 2022 loved it loved everything. This stay we were not told about the breakfast not being buffet style well at least being dramatically downsized and put out the front at Papas Beach Cafe. The selections were bland and mostly asian style nothing like it was in October and that was why we rebooked! The pool deck is a accident waiting to happen very very dangerous. My daughter room key was re programmed at least 20 time is 6 days very very frustrating with 3 little boys in tow to have to go from 1 end of the property to the other to report it. On the good side the staff are amazing so friendly welcoming and 10/10 to the chef at Papa's cafe for inviting the 3 boys into the kitchen to make and prepare and serve the best Pizza's I have ever eaten. The Alam KulKul is in a great position and the staff are worth staying for but quite a bit needs to be done to make it great

Just not the same

Had previously stayed at this hotel a few years ago and loved it but OMG how it has changed. Was greeted with "your room is not ready yet" and that was it, the front desk staff seemed very under trained and no customer service. The room had been updated a bit with new paint but still showed signs of age. Hotel has 2 swimming pools but only 14 sunbeds and 5 umbrella's between them. My breakfast was included in the price and the first day I asked for 2 hard boiled eggs, one was cooked prefect but the other one was so raw I think it come straight from the chicken to my plate.......the second day I asked for a watermelon juice as I don't drink orange juice which is all they had and was advised they could not do it. Needless to say I did not have breakfast there again, Luber next day is amazing. The day spa was awesome but this is not run by the hotel, which shows I suppose, Won't be going back to AlamKulKul and would not recommend until they improved.
