Staff are nice & your welcome will be friendly. But a Tiny, clattering & unsecured elevator will take you to a dim hallway to be installed behind a slamming door within a Worn & threadbare room filled with an almost overpowering smell of cleaning products, perhaps to hide the smells of pets that can also stay? I could barely sleep due to this smell. And once more: everything here is old…

Clean, quiet, comfortable beds and a friendly staff what more do you need! They do supply bagged breakfast and each room has a fridge, microwave and kuereg. Located near a McDonald’s and Tim Hortons along with other stores. Great little hotel in a smaller community. We will stay again

Room hadn't been cleaned from previous people. Had to get a new room and even though she apologized I really didn't feel like she cared. Hotel is showing its age. Bed wasn't bad but they need new pillows

Good place to crash for one night, accommodated special need

My special need was I came on a bicycle and wanted a ground floor room. The front desk lady cheerfully accommodated that as well as giving me a room on the back side of the building (quieter - train noise). As well, she was a font of local knowledge about bike-friendly routes (C&E Trail). It is an older building which has been reno'd. All in working order although if you want the Ritz, this ain't it. Hurrah for a real bath tub. With a stopper. Room (#108) has a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Unfortunately the coffee maker wasn't stocked with decaf'. COVID and how were they doing: The most visible effect of COVID was the breakfast which was downgraded to a bag with juice box, granola bar and fruit, plus an assortment of muffins: you take it and your coffee back to your room. I didn't find the trains all that disturbing despite sleeping with the window open. There were only a couple during the night (Friday). I ate at the attached Chinese restaurant where they have surrendered their normal buffet to COVID, everything delivered by the server. Not bad and judging by the lack of after effects not too overboard on the MSG.

Great stay for 1 night

Stayed here for a basketball tournament in town. Front desk people were amazing, and made sure the entire team was taken care of. They put us all on the same floor next to each other and even gave the kids coupons for some of the restaurants in town. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. In the morning they made sure the kids all slept good and had enough to eat for breakfast. Even let us know when one of our kids forgot an item in the room. Would stay there again.
