Stayed here when our cruise was cancelled due to the Coronavirus. So instead, we drove from the beach house we rented in Galveston and decided to stay in Austin for a few days. My friend got all of our rooms with points, and we were able to choose which rooms we wanted on the app. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we were 6 people out of 12 total int he hotel. So, really no reason not to have great service in my opinion. We had a king room at the end of the hall (room 301). First of all the bed is extremely uncomfortable and has no loft to it, the pillows were TERRIBLE! _ There were TWO pillow for each side and together they were as flat as a hardback book. No support at all. I asked the front desk for more pillows and the apathetic front desk guy said "Sorry, we don't have any available". Really? When we're the ONLY ones in the ENTIRE HOTEL other than 6 other people?? REALLY? Get some from another room! Anyway, he was no help. The A/C is just a split duct system and it blows RIGHT on the bed from across the room so when it's on you're freezing and when it's off you're hot as F. The room wasn't especially clean either. Also, there were USB ports and plugs on only ONE side of the bed! The other side was empty! The bathroom was outdated with an old ugly shower and the whole place felt icky. Location itself was good in Lakeway (about 1/2 way between Austin and the Texas Wine Country) and there's a lot of good places to eat around there. Overall, it wasn't a great place to stay. I am used to staying in much nicer hotels than this but our friend got them all on his points for free so we stayed there. I will NEVER stay at this hotel or any Hampton Inn again. It's definitely not their higher end Hilton brand and you get what you pay for I guess.
Why don't hotels help out their staff out by marking the king sheets !
Nice room. Nice people. Usual breakfast. No complaints until time to go to bed. Granted, I would not want to make a king sized bed by myself, but I can't count the number of times, and this hotel was one of them, when the sheet had ears & excess on one side & nothing on the other side. I have put my fitted sheet on side-ways, so I know the signs. Either the Mgt. should mark the sheets or they should hire staff that cares enough to look at the finished product. It should not be left up to the guests to remake the bed in the middle of the night.
Hotel was amazing and the staff was more than helpful with anything that was needed. We didn’t have any problems with our stay and it was great that they put us all close to each other when assigning the rooms. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Terrific rooms and staff
In this hustled and hurried world where people are very quick to criticize but never to compliment.. that I wish to take one moment to tell you what it absolutely pleasant and wonderful time I had at your hotel… the front desk staff is amazing your hotel is absolutely immaculate and the amenities are more then most provide… I wish to commend the young man by the name of Bailey… I could not book my Room online for some reason there was a block saved for a wedding that I which photographing here... He made it all possible and I just wanted to give you a heads up on what a terrific staff you have… all of my best, Vidal

Don’t stay here beds are not very comfortable ac is very loud and annoying also I woke up to find bugs on the nightstand right next to me ..... disgusting Also the breakfast had minimal options when it came to hot food bacon and scrambled eggs where nowhere to be found during my whole stay here and breakfast often consisted of turkey sausage
