Unique B&B in great location

This is a recently renovated building with delightful decor and comfortable, spacious rooms. We used 3 rooms for our family, each uniquely decorated, impeccably clean, with abundant room to lounge and spread out. Located down a narrow alley, out of the way, there is easy access to the Grand Rue. We found parking each night in the public lot about 100 meters from the B&B. Due to the narrow street configuration, the actual walk between parking and the B&B entrance is more like 250 meters. The walk onto the Grand Rue would be about 150 meters, with excellent shops for local artisans, chocolate, cooking supplies, patisseries and boulangeries. Valerie is a wonderful hostess, providing delicious breakfasts, and offering excellent advice on local sites and cafes/restaurants. We will definitely be back to this B&B.

The guesthouse is the result of an extremely clever redesign of an old house literally embedded in the old part of the city. It is a pleasing and successful combination of modern and old architecture. The guests are wonderful.

Fabulous Stay in a Beautifully Renovated Building

This is a fabulous find right in the middle of old town Lavaur. Believe it or not, the guest accommodations are in a renovated stable (la grange)! The owners bought 2 side-by side buildings a few years back, one a house and the other an adjoining stable. They completely renovated both. They live in the house, and the stable has been tastefully re-designed as a standalone guesthouse with full kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms, a living room, and patio. The blend of old and modern is so cool. We stayed in the roomy red room. Wow! Loved it. Then hosts Valerie and Bernard Vin are very warm and welcoming. Valerie serves classic French Breakfast each morning. The bakery where they purchase the croissants was recently declared one of the best in France, and man, they weren't wrong about that. Delicious, especially when served with Valerie's home made jams. We were visiting friends who live in and near Lavaur, so this was a perfect spot to stay. Highly, highly recommended!

Hidden in the old back streets of Lavaur, this was a treasure worth finding. We had two rooms, and were four adults staying in the region for three nights for a family wedding. The place was huge inside, each bedroom was different and unique. The beds were very comfortable; the showers were fab and there was plenty of space in the rooms. We also had the use of a very well-equipped kitchen, with a big dining room and a lounge, which we had sole use of for the days we were there. The house is right around the corner from one of the shopping streets and close to a couple of restaurants and pizzerias. Parking was possible if a little challenging as the streets were rather narrow. Wi-fi is very weak in the rooms. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful too. We would definitely stay here again!

Maison d’hôtes géniale. Présent pour un mariage dans la région c’était parfait. Les propriétaires sont géniaux, très gentils et aux petits soins. Je recommande fortement car c’est sure j’y retournerais.
