I hardly slept due to the been so firm, extremely painful backache . And only 1 pillow . I woke every hour . Not ideal when up at 7am to go to london. Plus points are location and lady on reception was friendly . Was good value for the location but I couldn’t possibly stay again based on the bed quality

The room smelled like cigarette smoke, the bathroom was disgusting, the toilet hadnt been properly cleaned , the towels were stained . When I tried to go to bed, the bed sheet and the mattress protector were covered in blood stains , absolutely disgusting! I went to the reception and notified them about it, thankfully , the receptionist Ana, for was very helpful by bringing me an entirely new set of bedsheets and re-making my bed for me, as at my age I would have struggled with it .

Thankfully I only stayed at this Hotel for one night. The good points - very centrally located, you couldn't ask for nearer to the city centre. Connie on reception was very good and helped to rectify some of my problems. Thank you Connie. The bad points - On arrival there was Poo on the toilet seat and skid marks on the toilet bowl in our room. The room hadn't been cleaned and the floor was full of dust, hair and other stuff. There was only 2 or 3 sheets of toilet roll left and no spares. We only had 2 bath towels between 3 people and no hand towels. The sink is tiny which makes it impossible to wash your face without water going everywhere. The bed must be the hardest bed I have ever slept on so I didn't get a great deal of sleep. Honestly, it's so hard and uncomfortable can't believe they can call it a bed. No tea coffee making facilities and the vending machine in reception was broken. I paid extra for a window but it looked straight on to a brick wall. Not worth the extra money. It wasn't that cheap either, especially for a weekday. A fellow guest was telling me that he was given a room key to an already occupied room. He walked into this room and luckily there was nobody there at the time. Not sure what's going on with this place. Overall it was really poor and in future I'll stick with a Premier Inn.

What more do you want. A clean and comfortable bed with a good shower. Rooms are not spacious but if you want a place to stay which is centrally located and are not bother about frills then go for this. Checkin was quick and easy with Connie giving a very friendly welcome and explained the hotel very well. I have to say she made the hotel very welcoming.

Helpful and friendly staff . Jack w & Connie Ideal location in city centre close to all major shops and bars Nice basic rooms with decent showers. Non smoking rooms Reasonable prices 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
