Gostamos!

beautiful place however, staff not very engaging nor trusting

room were nice however, who needs to here two slobs fornicating unrestrained like two squealing sows with children in the next room. no consideration for other guests. Although the sun sets where extraordinary and the property lush we found the staff untrusting like we weren't going to pay for a business meeting we were going to host. As we were set to leave the host ran into the office to make sure we were not going to get over on the extra' we ordered for this business meeting. The unspoken message was very clear as the host ran into the office with a huff and puff to make sure the Americans were not going to get over on the french chateau. Breakfast substandard.

Could have been better

The mansion is really nice, comfortable room, nice park, but ... the breakfast is poor (only one cup of coffee), the wifi doesn't function even in the livingroom, the water in the bathroom is not warm enough to take a bath. The location is quiet isolated, you really need a car to to out eating ...

Mixed feelings, could have been better

We stayed in the family room for 3 nights. The room is at the end of the hallway on the first level. It consists of a small corridor with two rooms on one side and a bathroom on the other side. One bedroom has two single beds and the other one double bed. Both rooms are connected with a door in the common wall as well. Let's start with the positive: -It's a beautiful building with a lovely charm to it. The park around it is well maintained -It's quiet -It's very close to Disneyland Paris, making it ideal for a trip there -We were warmly welcomed and the staff is very friendly -Breakfast on the terrace is really nice, despite the occasional wasp. On the other hand there were things that could be improved: -The room could be cleaner, there was a lot of dust under the bed and cupboard -The door to the small corridor couldn't be locked, so we needed to lock the bedrooms separately. -The shower head didn't have a support so you needed to hold it over your head yourself. -The towels weren't replaced so we needed to use the same towels during our whole stay. Towers could have used a bit of fabric softener too.? -There was no shower gel of shampoo provided, only a small bar of soap. -The heating in the bathroom didn't work (or we couldn't get it working) -The breakfast was tasteful but very simple. Only bread, some viennoiserie, butter, jam and plain yogurt. When staying multiple days, you would like a bit more variation.

A beautiful old manor in the countryside

The building is beautiful and the rooms have a lot of character. The lobby/lounge area is very nice for enjoying a cup of coffee or just sitting down to read a book. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful and there are tables on the terrace for having breakfast al fresco and a couple of sunbeds in the yard. The breakfast was typical French (coffee/tea with croissants, marmalade, yoghurt and orange juice) and very tasty. We only stayed for one night on our way towards Paris, but could easily have made this our base if we had spent more time in the area. However, the location is quite isolated. We had a car so it was no problem, but without car the place would have been quite difficult to get to.
